"Great lodge, with stunning views, set precipitously over the forest. The room and amenities were comfortable, the manager / host / cook charming and gregarious, and the food hearty and wholesome. I wanted to try Ugandan Kombucha, he sent someone out to get some for me - awesome service. As an added bonus it's 5 minutes away from the nearest gathering point for gorilla trekking. Ticked all the boxes."

The rooms are beautiful and the beds, pillows , and warm bottle at bed made our sleep the best ( even compared to home !). Laundry was done without payment and very carefully . It is an excellent choice ."

"I went with the University of Connecticut Global Medicine Team. The setting is beautiful with birds awakening us every morning. The breakfasts were superb with fruit, eggs. French toast,native honey, warm rolls coffee and tea. The support from staff was excellent with help in cleaning rooms and laundry. The rooms were spacious and comfortably furnished (mosquito netting for all beds). The Stone House has a library, fireplace, comfortable seating; it is a pleasant gathering place. The gardens are spectacular. For the group of physicians working in the adjacent hospital and nursing school this guest house could not have been better."

"The hotel is simply amazing! You will have the best view of the forest and in 5 minutes drive you arrive at the place where the Gorilla trekking starts. The accommodations are very spacious, clean and comfortable! The food is delicious and the cooker can make anything you like. Lastly, the hosts were fantastic. All of them were really kind and helpful, making us feel at home. They even made us a delicious welcoming cake and sing a traditional song welcoming us. I never before saw such attentive and caring hosts. I recommend this place 100%!"

"A lovely place to stay for gorilla tracking at Bwindi. The rooms were very comfortable, but the highlight was the staff, who were exceptional. It was my father's birthday, and to mark it they baked a cake. The kitchen staff all formed a conga line and sang and danced as they brought it in after dinner. We were very touched. That combined with the gorillas made it into an unforgettable day."
