"We had a great couple of night in the lodge. Hotel is really cozy and clean. And the best part is the friendly staff. Everyone is there to smile and help. Food is homestyle and really good. Chef will aim to please! The common lounge is cozy and invites to stay for a while and make some friends either local or other hikers. Really close to the Gorilla trek meeting point so that's a total plus. Views are amazing and you feel totally in touch with nature."

"I would strongly recommend not to stay at this hotel!!! We did not have hot water in our room and this repeated for the 2 nights that we stayed there. We did not expect high end cuisine and we visited the area to see the mountain gorillas, but the food was tasteless and the fact that they used serving "tricks" didn't make the food better. Unfortunately, they didn't even understand why we were complaining about the food. They are disorganized and mixed up our laundry with other guests' laundry. In summary - this is a very unprofessional hotel that supplies very poor service."

"Incredible staff! Jackie is one of the kindest persons I've met. Clean and comfortable lodge with delicious food. The road to this lodge is an adventure all by itself, but well worth the trip. Most travelers stay here for the gorilla treks in Bwindi. We stayed almost a week to rest after flying from USA to Uganda. We bird watched, visited the Batwa, enjoyed the local dancers, trekked to the gorillas and relaxed. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, with a lovely view, and the food was delicious. Couldn't ask for more!"

"We had a very pleaseant stay at the very quite lodge. The rooms were super clean and the interieur was very beautiful. The view from the lodge over Lake Matunda and the Virunga mountains is spectacular. Sitting on the balcony, listening to the beautiful birds and having a drink is just a dream. The staff was very very friendly and to the 60th birthday of my wife we were surprised by a cake and a best performance with singing and dancing. That was the best experience ever !! So, all in all, we had a great time."

"The hotel is nestled in the hills of the windy forest and a few meters from the entrance of the national park. Do the hotel workers have impeccable behavior to review the professionalism of the waiter, ézar and the employee valence. The only thing that did not rise to the occasion was the behavior of the person representing the hotel manager named Isabella. From the first moment he expressed a conceit and arrogance that we had never seen in anyone local since we have been in this wonderful country called Uganda for fifteen days."

"We spent a pleasant night before our Gorilla trek at this lodge. It was comfortable and clean. We especially enjoyed the view and spent some time watching the brilliant sunbirds from the porch. The menu included several options for various preferences and we enjoyed our selections. The staff were congenial, responsive and professional. A good option for gorilla trekkers as it is a restful place to stay close to the Rushaga Gorilla Trek starting point."

"We arrived at the Chameleon Hill Lodge on 23rd of December and stayed there for 3 nights. The atmosphere was great, the view incredible and the staff so friendly and courteous. The rooms and lobby were with so many details und beautiful colors, where you can relaxe or have a cup of tea, read a book or just enjoy the wonderful view. The stay was part of our honeymoon and the staff was very helpful to do everything to feel welcome. Hopefully we can come back at our silver wedding anniversary."
