"We had an amazing three nights at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge, with specacular views of the Bwindi Impentrable Forest National Park. The lodge is charming and very well maintained, with extremely clean and comfortable rooms. The food is delicious and plentiful, and they had great vegetarian options for every meal. The very best part of the lodge is the team working here, who took incredible care of us. From enuring our room was spotless and creating lovely towel and flower art on our bed every day, to making sure we had all the food and drinks we could need, to helping with our muddy post-forest hiking shoes and clothes, they made sure that we were comfortable and happy at all times. They even provided cozy hot water bottles on our way to bed, to help keep us toasty warm on cooler nights! We spent a fair bit of time in the main lodge using wifi and enjoying the beautiful setting, and Braire and the team made sure every moment was amazing, including supplying many cups of delicious Uganda tea. We're so grateful for the incredible experience that we had and would highly recommendt the Rushaga Gorilla Lodge to anyone looking to stay in the area!"

"The amenities are great. Staff kind and jovial. Felt like a home away from home. Rooms are spacious, the food was very well done and tasty...I wanted more. Even though it was rainy and very cold during my visit, the provisions in the suite were enough to keep me warm. The place is also secure. I loved everything about it."

"Honestly the best place to stay in the whole of Kisoro! Ivan makes sure you will get the most out of your experience by taking you to some hidden gems, and will help with everything you need. Besides, the hotel is spacious with both inside and outside areas to sit, warm and comfy, and it has a nice restaurant too."

"The lodge is right by one of the gates to Bwindi which was very handy. The rooms are treehouse style so all our free time was spent birdwatching in the treetops from the balcony- managed to rack up around 30 species just from the balcony! The staff were all incredible at this hotel and went above and beyond. The provided a packed lunch for our gorilla Trek as well as a packed breakfast for our early start the next day. They also managed to turn around our laundry very quickly. The only downside was the shower pressure, but you are literally in the middle of the mountain rainforests in Uganda so you can't really complain 🤷‍♂️"

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel at home with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The location is unbeatable — nestled in the forest with stunning views of the hills and misty jungle. Waking up to birdsong and the cool mountain air was magical. The rooms are cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed with a rustic yet comfortable feel. After a long trek, it was amazing to return to a hot shower, delicious local meals, and a relaxing fireplace in the evening. The team even helped organize our trekking permits and gave us helpful tips to prepare."
