"A must stay for couples! The view was incredible (you can see in the photos below)! We also had a fantastic meal at The Rockfish restaurant, and the hotel’s location couldn’t be more convenient for all the shops/bars/restaurants in the harbour. The parking provided by the hotel was at the harbour itself, and was very convenient. We used self check-in, it was so quick and easy we could just get on with our short trip and waste no time! At breakfast we had the pleasure of meeting the owners, aside from the delicious (made to order) breakfast, the service was incredible. Highly recommend!"

"Dined as a group of four and had a lovely evening. Nice setting and absolutely great food. If you want a great flavoursome steak, cooked over coal embers to perfection then this is the place to go. They also have a selection of fresh fish if that's more your thing - all of which is on display for you to select from. The service was very friendly but also efficient and the place understood the concept of personal hospitality. Waitresses were totally switched on, owners came over to introduce themselves and the chef came to the table to check if everything was cooked just right. A really great addition to Brixham's vibrant restaurant scene and definitely worth checking out. All our party agreed that we would happily return."

"Spent a lovely two days in Brixham at Brookside Guesthouse and Spa. Hospitality was exceptional with a lovely warm welcome on arrival. Lovely rooms catering for every eventuality. "This must have been our 4th visit to this exceptional B & B. Since finding it, we love to stay here when we visit Brixham. The rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable with each one having a fantastic view over Brixham harbour from the balconies. The owners, Herve and Nathalie are very friendly and welcoming, we love our chats with them in the morning and they are very knowledgeable about things to do in the area especially restaurants, as being a chef, food is Herves passion. I advise anyone to make a note of his recommendations and act upon them. The breakfast they provide are sublime, the choice is made on the evening before, and there is lots to choose from. My go-tos are Nathalies poached pear and yoghurt and the best Eggs Benedict, by Herve, I have ever had. My husband has the porridge followed by a modified full English breakfast with French twist. Very yummy! Other choices such as omelettes, hake and Croque Madame are definitely up there too! The B and B is on top of a hill reached by steps which bring you right into Brixham harbour, which is why the views are so good. Thoroughly recommend a stay ( or more) here. We will be back!"
