"We were pleased with room, welcome and breakfast and ready to give a good review. I had booked via the Trip App and paid for a double room for 2 people with breakfast- at checkout a very rude receptionist demanded I pay £29 for two breakfasts and would not accept I’d already in effect paid for breakfast when booking. I showed her the booking confirmation which clearly stated the deal included breakfast - she still asked for payment. I demanded to see the Manager who still was reticent to accept that breakfast had already been paid for….. Unacceptable. As a result we were late for a family funeral"

"Our room was clean with a lovely bathroom and a friendly atmosphere at reception. It was great value for money as we had our two free breakfasts at the Beefeater nextdoor. Excellent service from receptionist at breakfast. She was polite, professional and greeted you like a long-lost friend. Even though breakfast was busy on the Sunday (and could have done with more staff) she was working extremely hard to place guests quickly. It was a good location with retail park close by."

"Great hotel, friendly staff, easy to check in, hotel areas and room very clean. Extra towels available from reception and additional tea/coffee/milk/sugar available at reception to help yourself. Very comfy bed and it was quiet so a great nights sleep. When we arrived on the Friday there was a street food market outside with a great choice of foods from around the world. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the train station, although we had a taxi and there is a taxi ordering point on the reception desk if you don't user Uber. Literally at the end of the road there is a Pret and Tesco Express. We didn't have breakfast but ate in the restaurant for 2 nights, and this would be my only criticism as they seemed to be out of stock of virtually everything I ordered (Saturday night I chose 3 meals and all were out of stock so ended up with a burger as my fourth choice and thankfully they had those) and there weren't many staff available if you wanted a drink from the bar. What we ate was very nice and the prices are very reasonable. I would stay here again."

"Upon arrival, was informed by reception that because I arrived late, they had cancelled my booking. They demanded payment of GBP 50 for reinstating my reservation. Room was above a pub and there were constant noises until pass midnight everynight. Bedsheets were dirty. When we were checking out, asked reception to book a metered taxi for us. She ended up booking a car for us which charged us double. All in all, the most disappointing hotel stay of my life."

"God beliggenhed - Clifton Village er trendy, mange gode barer og restauranter og let at komme ind i byens centrum med bus. De almindelige lejligheder er gode, men den, jeg havde brug for en form for vedligeholdelse, var svær at få toilettet til at tørre ordentligt, og bruseren holdt ikke en konstant temperatur. Mine venner i andre lejligheder havde ikke disse problemer, så ikke en generel klage!"

"I have to say that I’ve worried in the beginning when I was booking it. Some reviews brought me concerns. However, after I got my room, everything is good enough for the price we paid. I would not say it’s super clean and super nice but it’s good enough for stay. They do daily room cleaning. All the facilities you need are there. Especially the gym and the health centre are amazing. For the price I am paying I would not expect that. The location is perfect. Short walk from the train station and short walk to all the attractions. Makes it easy to in and out. The room I’ve got is also quiet. Overall I would definitely come back again if I ever come to Bristol. This is a highlight of our trip."
