"They didn't return my £100 deposit - Avoid!! I stay in approx. 5 hotels a month on average for work. Sometimes I book a room/apartment. This place was close to where I was working the next day. I stayed here alone. Pictures looked great, so I paid my additional deposit (nowhere else typically asks for this - this should have been the first red flag!!!) I arrived to someone unconscious on the pavement outside! That was an issue in itself. Outside smells of **** / wee. I'm fairly streetwise, but it really didn't feel great here. I don't know if I'd go as far as saying I felt unsafe but I was certainly feeling vigilant!!! I actually got into the apartment after some phone calls. It was evening by the time I arrived and all I had planned to do was watch some TV before bed and then work the next day. I didn't use the kitchenette, it seemed alright, typical Ikea, if a little basic. The bathroom was 'ok' but I was sort of glad I didn't need to use the shower. There were no 'views of the city' unless you mean the street/alley. There was plenty of exterior noise, which you can't always prevent and have to allow for so that's not a gripe as it is in the city centre. The furniture was broken and in need of repair, I'm glad I didn't need to use it. It felt "cheap" and a bit cold/unwelcoming - a stark contrast to the pictures which sell a romanticised version. The lights beside the bed didn't work. I barely left a footprint in the property and they haven't to this day returned my £100 deposit - even though I've asked multiple times. I've chalked this one up to experience - a bad one!!! I think if I were to advise anyone, I say give this one a swerve, it's not worth it."
