This 5 bedroom / 4 bath 3500 sq ft home prioritizes the communal spaces while including cozy separate spaces for a quiet moment to unwind. Sit on the hearth and take in the crackle from the large fireplace. Marvel at the view and wildlife through the massive windows. Share a late-night conversation on the deck will taking in the breathtaking stars. Relax in the hot tub while watching the sunset on the mountains. Curl up and take in a movie in the family room theater after a day of adventure. Stay cozy on a long winter night with radiant heated floors on the lower level and master bathroom.
One of our favorite families activities is to eat wonderful food together. The well-appointed kitchen includes am Italian made pro-style Bertazzoni 5 burner gas range, two dishwashers so that you can get back to enjoying your family, a large fridge, lots of tools (including cocktail tools) and much more. Enjoy the Weber gas BBQ grill on the deck off the dining room (seasonally).
Nested on 12 acres, the lodge was designed to enjoy the beauty of it's one-of-a-kind Baldy Mountain location including spectacular views of Lake Pend Oreille and mountain ranges beyond. Every window was strategically placed to bring the outside in- including maximizing the natural light year round from the full southern exposure perch. Take in deer, moose, wild turkeys, coyotes, bear and bird watching from hummingbirds to hawks and eagles. The beautifully landscaped yard includes a 7-person hot tub, a large gas fire put to roast smores on, horse shoe pits, a swing and plenty of room for yard games. Enjoy a walk to through the mountain forest with glades of birch, lark, pine, cedar and fir. Fall colors are breathtaking. In Winter, the snow can get 2-5' deep enabling wonderful snowshoeing (8 pairs provided) and multiple slide courses ranging from 100’ to 1/2 mile+ long (several sleds provided).
We tried to take every detail into account when we designed, build and furnished this home for our family to get out of the chaos of life and create moments together. We hope it also enables you to get away from the busyness of life, slow down a bit, rejuvenate your spirit and more than anything connect more deeply with those you love while enjoying the wonders of North Idaho nature.
Private yet convenient - Bald Eagle Lodge is just 10 minutes from Downtown Sandpoint and 25-35 minutes from Schweitzer Mountain ski resort. Other nearby amenities include The Idaho Club (a Jack Nicolson Golf Course), the Pine Street Woods 180-acre multiuse trail system, several local disc golf courses (the closest one down the road) as well as the Sandpoint Outdoor Shooting Range.
WINTER BOOKINGS: This home is amazing in the winter, and winter conditions make access to this home somewhat unpredictable. Winter guests must have 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles and be competent in driving in all weather conditions. While the shared community road and private driveway will be maintained and plowed on a regular route, snowy and icy conditions will exist, and we recommend being prepared for all driving conditions. The Wildflower is a thoughtfully designed, family-friendly condo just three-quarters of a mile from Schweitzer Mountain Resort. It’s the perfect base for ski weekends, summer adventures, or mountain escapes—complete with modern comforts, smart amenities, and space to spread out and relax.

This ground-floor unit eliminates the hassle of stairs or congested parking. Simply park right outside the back entrance and settle in. Inside, the open-concept living room features a 60” smart TV with streaming apps, cozy seating, and an electric fireplace for added ambiance. Wall heaters ensure the space stays warm and inviting even on the coldest days.
The spacious dining room doubles as a flexible lounge and sleep area. A large table with seating for six sits beneath a skylight and beside a second fireplace (gas, controlled by a smart Nest thermostat). This room also includes a daybed with a full-size trundle—ideal for kids or extra guests.
Remote workers will love the dedicated dual-screen workstation in the dining area. With two external monitors, a keyboard, and a mouse, the setup connects instantly via a USB 3.0 plug—just bring your laptop and you’re ready to work, all while staying warm by the nearby fireplace.
The full kitchen includes a refrigerator, oven, cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, and ample counter space. The pantry and coat closet also include helpful extras like coolers, folding chairs, and cooking supplies. A Traeger grill is available for guest use right outside the unit—just bring wood pellets if planning to smoke more than once.
The bedroom is peaceful and dark—great for recharging—featuring a queen bed and two small twin bunks built into the wall (best suited for children under 13). A ceiling fan with remote control and a large closet make the space both comfortable and functional.
The bathroom includes a full tub/shower combo, a large vanity with a heated mirror (adjustable lighting), and a smart toilet with heated seat, charcoal air filtration, and full bidet controls—all operated with a remote mounted nearby. Baseboard heating in this room is manually adjustable for your comfort.
Guests staying at The Wildflower also benefit from convenient access to Schweitzer Mountain Resort and the Selkirk Recreation District’s shuttle service. The shuttle operates on-demand during weekends and holidays in the winter, offering easy trips to and from the resort village. The bedroom boasts a comfortable queen bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep for guests. With amenities like AC, WiFi, and a washing machine, your stay will be convenient and stress-free. Experience the magic of Spirit Lake at our charming house that is located at The Venue at the Reed's. We are kid friendly and have a giant playground. We also have 2 firepits with a shared outdoor bar that the owners and friends occasionally frequent. We love to share our space with others and want everyone to enjoy themselves!
Please note on occasion, since we are a working wedding venue, during the week we will sometimes be scheduled for tours of the grounds. The tour doesn't include the guest cabin (when we have vacationing guests) but will include the grounds around the guest cabin, so from time to time we will be giving a tour. Tours are sometimes scheduled out for weeks / months and cannot be rescheduled.
