"Nice and clean. Comfy beds. Small Bathroom and shower!! As a bigger bloke a bit tight for me!! Good wifi connection in room. Never did get the TV working. No chair ot desk in room. Massive free car park to rear of building which my room overlooked. No Bar or lounge on site but Hotel 2 doors down had bar and did breakfast at extra cost. Very reasonably priced. I was attending a music festival in Santa Suzannah so just slept in the room. Wouldn't be nice if you were there for a family holiday or were a couple wanting to spend much time in the room. In a dodgy area!! Some grotty bars nearby and the money transfer shop next door seemed to attract some rough looking individuals. Prefer the Eastern part of The Costa Brava. Blanes seemed tatty and a bit of a dump!! Nice staff! Very friendly."

Internationale måltider med meget omfattende og forskellige buffeter, venlig personale, anbefalet struktur for dem, der har børn! Svømmebassiner, barer og animation. Lydløsning af værelserne lidt lav. I det store og hele har vi været meget godt og anbefaler det til en ferie på havet!"

"This is a 1 star at the best! It claims to be a 4 star hotel…..someone needs to reavaluate as it’s Terrible! Awful facilities, might have been nice when it opened but has never been maintained and brought back up to date….lots of facilities broken. It’s truly bad…not kettle in room, towels are about 40 years old. Pool towels you need to hire and pay for clean ones… pool was dirty, room dirty, booked a quad room and got a triple."

"I was so scared after reading the reviews. But upon arrival, it felt right immediately. The hostel looks very cozy and authentic. The staff is super welcoming and helpful. The beds were good and the room clean! The fan cools the room down well. Of course, you sometimes hear holidaymakers in the evening, but there is absolutely no disturbance. It is a quiet street with two mini-supermarkets. At the end of the street, you walk straight onto the beach and can head towards the tourist area or the center. The bar/kitchen is closed in the afternoon, but the staff still made me a delicious espresso. My youngest son was dreading a long hike, and I didn't know what to do anymore. The sweet man working there grabbed his laptop and showed me the route via Google Earth. What a relief! Happy kid, happy mom! And we took a beautiful walk, El Cami de Ronda! Highly recommended! There is so much beauty to see along the coast there. For a low-budget price/hostel, we had a first-class experience! Homely atmosphere and warm people! The cleaning is perfect and the cleaning staff is also very friendly! The hotel room was cozy with a nice balcony overlooking the famous rock of Blanes. Everything is within walking distance! Just book, don't hesitate! Hasta la proxima! Fue una visita excellente! Gracias por todo❤️"

"Location is great, 2 minutes from beach. Mainly locals stay here. Reception and bar staff are welcoming. Food was good but could have had more kid friendly food like burgers, nuggets for fussy kids. Kitchen manager was rude to customers and staff, was very uncomfortable to see. We had a sea view which was located by the communal bins which the hotel puts all the rubbish which overflowed. This made the room smell awful constantly. Room was dirty when we arrived. Sofa bed was broken and underneath it was filled with dust. No basic’s like kettle, iron. Had to pay for a fridge in the room. Bath plug broken. The balcony rail was cracked and frail and I did not allow my kids to hold on to it. Covers were not clean. No duvet in room but more of a throw which was bobbly and seen better days. Decor of hotel dated. There was no entertainment on some days and no music in the bar, so kids were bored in the evening. Thought having access to blaumar hotel across the road would mean more entertainment but they only put it on one or the other, not both. This may be a cheap hotel but you will end up paying for everything, even water on a board basis. Not sure how this hotel got 5 star reviews, but suspicious! Would not return even if it was for free."

"We arrived without a booking but we were accommodated in a beautiful room with views of the Mediterranean & a decent sized balcony. We also were able to avail of secure parking just 30 meters away from the hotel. The receptionist was helpful & pleasant & gave us a lot of information on local cafes & restaurants. The breakfast included a vast range of cheeses & cold cuts as well as a cooked breakfast for those wishing to avail of such. This was a very satisfactory experience."
