"Good location for a beach front holiday. Kids could play at the beach and swimming pools for the entire day. Thank you for the hospitality (from most of the staff)! The only issue is that the General Manager or someone from senior management (Mr R - didn't catch his full name) who appeared on the last day should have better communication with the staff at reception - what the reception informed us on the first day when we double checked on some additional charges (staff said no charge) is totally different from what he insisted on the last day of our stay (he said got additional charge)."

"We enjoyed every minute of our stay as well did our kids of 7 and 10 years old. Spacious rooms, outdoor bathroom; all very clean. Staff is superfriendly. Kitchen staff prepares delicious meals; we had Ikan Kari (pomfret fish) as well as ayam goreng bawang and did not regret it. Beautiful swimming pool with onobstructed views of the ocean. Highly recommended!"

"Spent 4 days at this resort on a family getaway, and it was a wonderful place to unwind and disconnect from the hustle-bustle. We loved the rustic feel of the bedrooms and dining pavilions - the naturalistic vibes really made us feel like we were getting AWAY away. Huge props to the staff for the meticulous care they take of the grounds! Be warned though, being surrounded by trees and sand means you ARE gonna encounter flies, mosquitoes and lizards, so sheltered city folks beware! The rooms are more than adequately comfortable, but not pampering-level luxurious. The food was always tasty (we highly recommend the fried beehoon and nasi goreng! And what’s not to love about a cheeky Irish coffee spiked with the local tipple, Cap Tikus?) And when we needed a break from the spa/beachside mini pools, we went snorkelling at the house reef, though they also have equipment for SUP, kayaking and other water sports. One consideration though, there isn’t a great deal here to occupy kids - it’s primarily an adults’ kind of resort, so we’d recommend looking elsewhere if family-/kid-friendly activities are a priority. The resort’s also quite a distance from any major urban center, so if your ideal vacay is shopping or cafes, this isn’t the place for you. But if you’re a busy working adult looking to just CHILL? This is the place. The resort’s also trying to get involved in both conservation and social projects, so throw in a little CSR while you’re at it Bottom line? This place is different from the other overly-commercialised, touristy establishments that you’ll find on Bintan - BUT IT ISN’T FOR EVERYONE. Recommended if you like: chillaxing, watersports, nature, disconnecting from the world, good food, something different Not recommended for: people who are scared of insects, families with children, urban folks, shopaholics, those who need their creature comforts"

"Neat little boutique resort with very pleasant staff. Very serene environment wthout noisy families and children.. surrounded by plenty of mangrove habitat within the property. Outside the property, you can cycle to rustic local villages and fisherman wharf (15mins walk away). Could hv been better if wifi is more stable. Electricity tripped once when we were there for 3D/2n..and if there is a.mini-fridge in the room, it would be perfect. Otherwise, all facilities are good enough. Menu serves a variety of western, indonesian and some chinese food but your best choice would be their yummy indonesian selection. Basic water activities eg swimming pool overlooking the sea, kayaking and other on-site tours are available. For kids: small slides, swings, see-saw, small animals eg rabbits, cats and chickens. Entertaintment: simple board games, uno, darts etc"

"We had a wonderful stay at Bintan Pearl Hotel! The staff and receptionist were super friendly and accommodating, and we were so lucky to get a free upgrade to the Premier Deluxe Room — such a pleasant surprise! The breakfast was nice, though it could be even better with more drink options. Be sure to check out their music bar at night — it’s a great spot to relax with free videoke and billiards for a small fee. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel when visiting Bintan!"

"If you want to chill and relax, this is an ideal place. Lovely cottages with own private beach. Very quiet and peaceful. The rooms are huge and clean. Almost all amenities, except toothpaste and toothbrush provided. Staff is excellent. Would like to specifically mention a young lady, Dewi, who took personal care of guests. Breakfast is provided in the room price and it is quite filling. It is a haven for cat lovers. They host a bunch of friendly cats who come and mingle with guests without fear. Now the not so good part: 1) The resort does not have a shuttle service so you are dependent on booking car for few hours as there are no taxis or ride hailing services. One way rides are expensive. 2) The resort does not have any activities of their own. They do have tie ups with spa, snorkelling, etc but that means travelling elsewhere & added cost. 3) The menu was extremely limited and portion sizes tiny. That was the worst part of the experience. Prices almost matched Singapore. We got them to curate a special menu for our anniversary which was decent, substantial & reasonable. Wonder why the regular menu cannot offer a proper serving size."

"This long weekend we tried to stayed at a resort that has river view. It was beautiful resort that has so many flower park. We booked a deluxe villa with river view. The good thing is we have our own garage for the car so we don't have to walk from parking area. They got two swimming pools, one for kids and another one for adult. The food was amazing, the name of the restaurant is "Pandan Wangi Restaurant". One thing that I need to highlight is the cleanliness in the room and public area. We found a plastic bottle of mineral water under our bed and so many dirt under the bed. For breakfast, there were not so many food selection and the food taste was awful. Overall not so bad, our kids were having fun there."
