"We had a wonderful stay here at the Mercure in Biel. Check in was fast. Room and Hotel was spotless clean. Aircondition worked great. Bathroom with showergel, shampoo, liquid soap. Unfortunately we did not have time to check out the fitness and sauna on the 6th floor. 24h Reception is great."

"Stayed here to visit a friend and to participate in the Biel/Bienne Carnival also known as Fasnacht. Leo who handled our check-in was very efficient and a delight to work with; we had reserved two rooms. The Courtyard is very nicely decorated, very clean and has a nice restaurant. I was very happy with my upgrade to a deluxe room which had a balcony. It was a very spacious room and I loved the USB C plug ins and the portable make up mirror in the bathroom. Lots of closet space to hang or fold clothes. Price of the hotel stay was very reasonable. The location of the hotel is easy walking distance to the old town and to the train station. Very convenient location. We used the train station to visit nearby Twann (wine tasting) and Bern (they also had a carnival). Breakfast every morning was great. Nice buffet style, good selection of delicious food with plenty of comfortable seating. We had a drink one night at the bar – also very nice and quiet. My friend had a car which was difficult to find hotel parking as there are just 5 or 6 spots. He has an invalid parking sticker, but that spot was taken by a non-invalid plated car. We should have mentioned this on the first night but did not. On checkout we mentioned this issue to Leo who apologized and said he would ask that hotel monitor that spot more regularly. Again, we should have mentioned it the first night. As is with many hotels in Switzerland, it is somewhat difficult to control the thermostat in the room. While it was March, we were fortunate to experience sunny, warm days. My room had a window and balcony which allowed me at night to remain cool with the windows open. The only negative was that my balcony faced the “Chessu – Couple” which seems to be some sort of night club and appears to be open from 11PM to 6AM. I can’t blame the Courtyard for this building and its hours – hoping that the city of Biel/Bienne takes a closer look at limiting the hours to just 2AM. On Friday & Saturday night I had to close my windows due to people talking outside of the Chessu and the thumping noise of music. With windows closed the noise wasn’t so bad. Really enjoyed my stay at the Courtyard Biel/Bienne and recommend it as a great hotel. Merci Courtyard!"

"Beliggende i byens centrum, tilgængelig for alle transportforbindelser og turistattraktioner såsom Museum, Lake og andre aktiviteter i området.En meget venlig personale, hjertet opvarmte smil!En grundlæggende morgenmad men det er ok, værelset er ikke nyt, men rent. Hotellet skal opgraderes og renoveres."

"Hotellet har et godt indtryk på første øjekast, men desværre er det allerede ende på det positive indtryk. Værelset var ekstremt spartansk indrettet – et mini-bad/ WC, hvor hver gang du går ind, gråt fuldt lys – også midt om natten (!), uden ethvert lager, ingen køleskab og ingen aircondition. Særligt forstyrrende er situationen direkte på en stærkt betjent vej, hvilket giver en konstant støjforurening. Derudover er der ingen elevator – med bagage en reel udfordring. Parkeringspladserne er ikke kun begrænsede, men også helt overpris. Frugt var blot en formodning: fuld selvbetjening, tomme brødkurve, ingen top, en lav og halvtomme kødplade. Smuttede deponerings- og bordområder, ingen tager sig af at fylde eller rydde op. Du skal selv rydde op – og det for en pris, der ikke er berettiget på nogen måde. Understregning: En skuffende ophold med en underjordisk morgenmad tilbud. Prisen er slet ikke rigtigt her."
