Apple Crest Inn ★★★★

"Det var en perfekt og charmerende B&B.Vi elskede, at det havde et snackværelse med køleskab og mikrobølgeovn.Grundlaget er smukt.Indehaveren af Inn var ekstremt responsiv og hjælpsom under vores besøg.Hun lavede en fantastisk morgenmad - meget smagfuld! Det var så meget bedre end at bo på et hotel."

"This is the worst hotel experience I've ever had in my decades of travel—bar none! Not only was the service terrible, but I think their integrity was also questionable. On December 16, 2024, we checked into this hotel. After nightfall, we heard a constant, loud machine-like noise. By 1 a.m. on the 17th, unable to sleep, we discovered the enormous noise was coming from an open-air ice machine next door… So we went to the front desk and had to change rooms. On the morning of the 17th, after checking out, we complained to the front desk about the noise affecting our sleep. The front desk apologized and said they would report it to the manager and get back to us. Then, on the afternoon of the 17th, the hotel called (we didn't answer because we were driving), and later received a text message from the hotel asking us to call back. On the morning of the 18th, we called the hotel back. An employee named Amika transferred the call to the manager, who repeatedly apologized and said they would refund our room fee… More than a month later, I've returned to China, but I still haven't received a refund from the hotel. So I contacted Ctrip, and the platform contacted the hotel several times. To our shock, the hotel not only denied its refund promise but also completely denied that we had been switched rooms in the middle of the night. This is completely unacceptable to us!! In my opinion, putting guests in a noisy room when there are available rooms is a service quality issue; but denying the refund promise—and even denying that we were switched rooms in the middle of the night—is a matter of the hotel's integrity!"
