"Restaurant Review- Poor. The food was seriously poor. There is such a thing as Al Dente spaghetti and there is such as thing as just not cooked. Even when returned and politely requested a second portion thoroughly cooked for a child - still plain not cooked. The chef and I obviously have a different understanding of of tempura. Our pork dish tasted ok except it wasn’t pork as ordered. Value - awful. Two separate cover charges , bread basket for 3 adequate for one. The good location justifies a premium price but here it is way too much. They need a rethink. Cook basics well or redefine how the current menu is working for them."

"Rooms: The room I stayed in had a spacious terrace with breathtaking views over the lake and mountains—a perfect spot to unwind. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-kept. Just a heads-up: there are only stairs to access the rooms, so it’s worth keeping in mind if you have heavy luggage. Service: Both the host and the manager were kind and welcoming throughout our stay. They were generous with their time and often offered rides into town when available, which we really appreciated. Location: Peaceful and scenic, but about a 40-minute walk from central Bellagio. The route is steep, winding, and lacks pavements, which makes it feel unsafe—especially at night. Buses are infrequent and often crowded, and taxis cost a flat €20 each way. The host kindly offered lifts when possible, but it’s not guaranteed. There are no nearby restaurants, so you’ll need to head back into town for lunch and dinner. Food: Breakfast was freshly prepared each morning and was a lovely way to start the day—simple, but made with care. Value: Compared to accommodation in the centre of Bellagio, this B&B is much more affordable. For the room size, peaceful setting, and incredible views, it really does offer great value for money. Overall: A beautiful and tranquil place to stay if you don’t mind being away from the centre. Just be sure to plan ahead for meals and transport. Please note: I stayed here in May 2024"

"I stopped for lunch and was positively impressed by the view that to say beautiful is an understatement because the view of the lake is enchanting. I ordered a second course: roast beef with vegetables, very good and plentiful. Moderate price and friendly staff."

"Et helt smukt hotel, der har bevaret sin charme, skønhed og nåde i 70 år!Det er familie ejet, og du kan helt sikkert fortælle med stolthed hver medarbejder show fra hilsner, at under dit ophold til den triste dag kommer, at du skal tjekke ud. Beliggenheden er fantastisk.Den har en stor tagbar/restaurant med to andre restauranter at vælge fra.Den tilbyder også spa med supplerende tjenester samt en supplerende buffet morgenmad. Buffet morgenmad har en sådan sort, herunder champagne til din mimosa, hvis du vælger.Vi blev i to forskellige værelser.Den anden nat havde vi en balkon, som var vores yndlingsudsigt....se lige på søen. Dæktoppen har fantastiske cocktails med udsigten!Værelserne er rummelige og rene og kommer med shampoo, klimaanlæg og krop vask.Vi vil absolut booke med Hotel Du Lac igen i fremtiden.Indtil næste gang!Amanda og Kurt fra KY"

"This Residence, while well located, does not have air conditioning, and being on the third floor is VERY HOT. I complained to the front desk and they sent an electrical fan, which is like blowing hot air in your face. In addition, the decor is grandmother’s Spartan, the ugliest room in my three week trip from Venice to Milán. I could go on about the lack of an elevator, lousy bed sheets and cheap pillows… In summary, stay away from this place, it will kill your enthusiasm!"
