Conveniently located near the road, the hotel was easy to access to and from any destination near by. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The room was cleaned multiple times per day, bottled water replenished along with the bathroom compliments. The room was spotless and spacious. I had a great experience overall."

"The location of this hotel is good although it's far from being a 'beach hotel' as it is on the opposite side of the promenade which has no beach but has a pleasant walk to see the fisherman catching small fish with very long poles. It was a bit disappointing that the rooftop bar and pool was being renovated ready for the summer season as that would have made the hotel a lot more fun. If you want some sunbathing the best bet is to head to one of the pool clubs on the promenade. Went to Riviere but there are a couple of others including a very nice one only about 200 yards from the hotel which is discreet and more expensive. The highlight of Beirut is the people, very friendly and up for a laugh and great nightlife too. Also the food is excellent. Would definitely go back."

"Overall, everything seems fine, but the renovations are many years old, and the plumbing is in poor condition. Water and tea are not replenished during room cleaning. The location was convenient for us, and there are plenty of atmospheric cafes and coffee shops nearby. But Starbucks still has the best coffee."

"I stayed at this property during my business trip in Beirut. It's located in downtown Beirut, which makes it walking distance from a whole host of restaurants and shops. The rooms are clean and convenient. The higher level rooms have a gorgeous view of the water. The service is very good. The wonderful people at the reception go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Special call out to Sahar, Ali, Christian and Simon. Sahar and Simon also arranged all my local transportation for me for the duration of my stay, which made things a lot easier for me. Thank you very much! I'm sure I'll be back."

"This is a terrible hotel! The staff cheats you out of your money and lets strangers in at night. Never go here! It's terrible! They bring coffee for breakfast and then add it to the bill, and it's very expensive! They push their own taxi and charge several times more! There is practically no sewage system, it's impossible to wash, the water doesn't drain, it just stands in the shower! They can knock in the evening and check the minibar! They take a deposit! The breakfast is terrible, meager, and when you leave the hotel, there is dirt and trash everywhere! When checking out, they ask you to write a review right away, but we didn't, and afterward we wrote everything honestly, as it really is! Never book this terrible hotel and don't stay there!"
