"To begin with the positive - the staff are wonderful. Very friendly , helpful & hardworking. They deal with quite a few groups, which must have it's special challenges. The location is excellent & the views are spectacular. It's a nice old hotel with real character, but showing it's age in places. It is very clean. They repaired my TV promptly. The complaints are few & not really major. My bathroom was quite small, with a small quadrant shower with quite a high sill that I kept catching my foot on quite painfully. The shower itself had a really small head & little pressure. The walls are thin & not soundproofed, so I got a lot of TV noise until quite late at night & could clearly hear conversation in rooms alongside mine. I really hate noisy hotel rooms, but the corridors are carpeted, so no footstep noise. We had breakfast & evening meal. Breakfast was fine, but the coffee was awful. I didn't particularly enjoy the evening meals which were often lukewarm. It is very much meat oriented with veal & beef, plus a couple of nights of fish. I tried out what they called omelettes. They were really awful, small round "cakes" not freshly cooked, leathery rather than fluffy & with frozen macedoine veg. There was no coffee after the meal & we were very clealy asked to leave so they could lay up for breakfast. There is an "a la carte menu", so I suppose we have to pay the price of being in a group with another big group there at the same time. I loved the area & enjoyed my stay. It is a 3 star hotel."

"Hotellet bør være den bedste Baveno-plads, meget smukt, der er indendørs som palads, og der er musik på aftenen.Tre minutters gang fra havnen.Der er en underjordisk parkering, 25 euro om dagen, men hvis der er en mellemvej, vil der blive opkrævet en omkostning.Der er en forbrændingsvandsbade i rummet, ingen trailer. Der er en stor balkon, der kan se havet, og natten er meget rolig.Privat strand er meget stor, der tilbyder en stor gryde og en gym.Der er to udendørs swimmingpools, der også kan svømme ned ad søen.Hotellet er meget stort, nogle værelser skal gå gennem en lang bølge.Der skal opkræves en ekstra 5% servicegebyr, når du går ud."

" Vi havde et smukt rum med komfortabele senge og et veludstyret, moderne badeværelse.Vi blev imidlertid ikke på forhånd underrettet om, at parkering i undergrundsgarage måtte reserveres før ankomsten. Heldigvis var der stadig tilgængelighed, da vi ankom, men parkeringsafgiften var ret høj.Et andet spørgsmål var manglen på internetdækning i vores værelse samt på taget terrasse i hele vores ophold. Dette var ubehageligt, især når man forsøgte at planlægge aktiviteter eller blive forbundet.Fruegen var temmelig undervæltet og opfyldte ikke vores forventninger med hensyn til sort eller kvalitet.Personalet var mere velkomment og overnatning. "The location was top for us! Not directly in the center, thereby a little quieter. The only manko was the streets in front of the house, but did not disturb us. The balcony on the sea side we used extensively. The beach is reached through a small park located on the other side of the street. The breakfast was a little spartany, but still everything was there."

"Great location across from Hotel Dino. I did not eat breakfast, but the lunch option at the attached restaurant was pizza and Italian fare. Staff were friendly and the rooms gave you the necessities including good wifi. Quick drive to Stresa and walking around was easy to get to restaurants and ferries on the lake."
