"Recently visited this hotel , basically I booked the Passivilla however the GM has graciously transferred us to Marina beach hotel due to the sandy beach facilities . The room sizes were big and the toilets are vey clean .All the staffs are very friendly .we had some lovely time at the beach with beach sports . I have to give a huge thanks to GM Janaka for his warm welcoming and hospitality . Lovely pool and the view was stunning . The food was average may be its a off season . I'll definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay"

"Sådan et smukt sted!Stor indstilling, stor pris, stor personale.Maden var lækker, de ville tage din ordre tidligt og købe alt produktet til dine måltider på markedet.Så alle utroligt friske produkter. Poolen var smuk og ren, og hele stedet var bare så afslappet, med i det væsentlige det er meget egen strand!Personalet behandler Villaen som deres egen, meget personlig, respektfuld og ren.Hvis du leder efter en afslappet og rolig ophold, er dette stedet. Tak for et godt ophold! "

"Ratings mentioned in google is wrong. This does not have the standard of a 3 star even. Not maintained properly, running under staff, an empty hotel with no guests. Beach next to the hotel is terrible. You have to walk to the public beach if you want to enjoy. There are enough good hotels in the area. Avoid this if you are looking for a holiday with the peace of mind. (Nice, innocent staff. Still they can not do anything as there seems to be an issue in the way they manage the property)"

"I went for lunch at this hotel and found the food to be quite good. The restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating. After lunch, I took a walk around the hotel grounds, but I was disappointed by the behavior of the garden worker- called Sivakumar towards guests. Their approach seemed disrespectful and unprofessional. This experience makes me hesitant to revisit this place in the future.""

"Seventeen of us travelling with Flamingo Lanka stayed at Amethyst Resort on 24th and 25th October 2025. Right in front of our room was the Pasikuda beach of white sand and turquoise blue waters of the ocean. On arrival, we were offered a tasty welcome drink. Baggage was delivered to our rooms and kept on the long-raised bench. The airconditioned bedroom, that included a fridge and a tv, was spacious and well furnished. The king-size bed had been made up with clean, fresh white sheets and large white pillows. Outside the room on the seaside, was a veranda equipped with a bench, a comfortable chair and a centre table. The bathroom too was spacious with clean and white fittings along with standard supplies of soap, conditioner etc. and a clothes rack. The shower provided hot and cold water. There was a well-equipped bar adjacent to the reception and the common lounge area. The dining area was large and spacious. The staff were exceptionally caring, professional, and helpful and attended to our smallest need. Our thanks also go to Thivanka who went out of his way to make sure we were well served, comfortable and contented. Thank you to all at Amethyst for our memorable stay."
