"The whole resort was beautiful and aesthetic. But imho, for an almost ₱10k stay per night as we available the Premium Room, the amenities could use a lot of improvement. We were first assigned in Accessoria 2 bldg, upon reaching our room the keycard was defective and the door wont open at all. Had to call the reception and staff came after waiting for about 30 mins just to bring the masterkey and still without the correct keycard. Personally went to the reception pa to have the defective keycard replaced. Going back to the room, we were about to freshen up but noticed that all the fixture are spewing brown water. We were ask by the staff if it's okay to change rooms and later on transferred to Casa Gapan, as the brown water was due to "pipe explosion" which caused the muddy water supply in the whole Accessoria 2. After transferring to Casa Gapan, the aircon was set to the lowest temp and highest fan speed but the whole place was hot. Called several times to the reception and was told that the maintenance guys are charging freon to the unit as we speak, but the temp inside the room did not improved at all. Again, no keycard was given immediately after transferring. We got our keycard the next morning pa and had to call several times. Such a hassle. Hair dryer was available upon request and not a staple in the rooms. For me the place is good for day tour only and not for long stays. Never going back again in the near future."

"I recently stayed for one night at La Jolla Luxury Beach Resort, and it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The resort has a beautiful beachfront, and the view of the ocean was really calming, especially during sunset. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere—it was perfect for a short escape from a busy schedule. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests. The pool area was also nice and added to the overall experience, especially if you want an alternative to the beach. Food was decent, though there’s still a bit of room for improvement in terms of variety. Overall, even though it was just a one-night stay, I felt refreshed and satisfied. I would definitely consider coming back for a longer visit next time."

Rooms are clean and comfortable, especially the good air conditioning. There is no Grab at the Mariveles area so to get around expect to take buses or hail a tricycle."

"The location is excellent. Less than 1km to Plaza Mayor de Balanga. Close to cafes, food park, night market, and other fast food chains. You can ride a tricycle as soon as you get out of the vicinity. They're quick to respond with calls and online inquiries. The facilities and essentials supplied are almost like those you'd expect in a hotel. The shared bathroom is not a downside as I expected initially. They are actually well-maintained and comfortable to use. The front desk almost has everything you might need in any situation: medicine, alcoholic drinks, games, trash bags, paper cups, etc. There's a water dispenser, too, to fill up water containers. The free breakfast is very much appreciated. It was already prepared as early as 6:30 AM, and you can choose to take them out. The food is nice, too. Well recommended for solo travelers or friends who are staying for a few days in Bataan."

"The beach is awesome. It’s just a few steps from the rooms so it’s very accessible. We arrived the hotel with an e- copy of the voucher which was sent via email. We were asked at the reception if we’re fully paid and how much did we pay. Our room didn’t have towels and our shower heater also didn’t work. It might be a newly built room as it looked new but it didn’t have a TV. There’s also no WiFi in the room and there’s no WiFi in the restaurant as well. We brought our own router but it was difficult to find a signal. Since I’m diabetic, I needed a ref for my insulin but they didn’t have a ref in the room. We asked the restaurant to store my meds inside their ref (there’s no freezer). The cost of the room is around P6,000 per night for 4 persons so I was somehow expecting more. The room comes with free breakfast. Breakfast everyday is rice, longganisa, tocino, hotdog, egg and coffee. It was a buffet type but the staff put the food to your plate. If you wake up 7:30pm onwards, there’ll already be a viand missing and you have to no other choices because the restaurant isn’t open yet in the morning. There’s free water and you can freely get whenever you want a drink but the taste of the water is different. Food is also a bit expensive. Bbq with rice meal is around P280. Bulalo is P750 - good for 2 persons. There’s a public videoke and it ends at 10pm. You can’t sleep before 10pm because the music is so loud. The staff are all very friendly. My family and I had fun during our stay. I hope the resort improves because it’s such a nice place but for us, we might consider other resorts next time because the this resort isn’t very family friendly yet."
