Hotel Horizont ★★★★

"Hotel Horizont has a very good location, only about 100 meters from the finest pebble beach in Baska Voda. There is a relatively large pool area but also an indoor pool in the quite nice SPA department. We had booked 10 nights in a room with a sea view on the second floor, also including a breakfast buffet. The rooms are quite outdated and in great need of renovation, especially the filthy carpeting should be replaced. The air conditioning did not work during our stay. The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately there was no bar service at the pool area. Note that the hotel is classified as a 4-star hotel, which it might have been at some point in time, but it surely does not live up to that standard today. However, the overall impression of the hotel is still positive, mainly because of the outdoor pool area, the friendly staff, the perfect location and the nice surroundings with nice restaurants nearby."

"Smukt hotel, med smukt personale.Meget rent og super morgenmad.AC på værelserne var perfekt og meget nødvendigt i en varm juli.Kort gåafstand til stranden, små caféer og frokostbarer. De havde også en lille lokal kat på hotellet, der var med os til morgenmad.De har en lille pool i basen, og du kan bestille spabehandlinger.Alt i alt et meget godt sted at bo i Baška Voda."

"Great staff and a great location to the beach. Breakfast and dinner were beyond expectations. I would t hesitate to stay here again. I would note that the beach is about a five minute walk away from the hotel and Bolt and Uber are not available in the area."

"Excellent hotel in a prime position on the seafront at the lovely little resort of Basca Voda. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Great spa/sauna facilities which were very useful when it rained. We were given an upgrade to a sea view room with balcony. What a fantastic view. Many thanks . "I rented my room in House Topic for a week in September and I absolutely loved it. It was a beautiful apartment, everything was spotlessly clean. The room was very well furnished and the kitchen had more than everything you would ever need (with great appliances which were all also spotlessly clean), as was the bathroom which also had a small sized washing machine and a hairdryer. Everything was just as described in the listing. The owner was lovely and very friendly and more than helpful. She greeted me on arrival and called her daughter Mia who spoke with me on her mum's phone to help with translation and said I could phone her anytime for any information I may need. There was a little selection of English books on the landing outside the room considerately put there, as well as maps and taxi numbers and area information. The balcony was a good size (overlooking the sea) with table (easily big enough for 4-6 people), chairs and a sun lounger. I also spotted spare umbrellas to use in case of rain. There was also an ironing board and iron on the landing for use if needed. I can't praise House Topic and the lovely family enough. I would really love to return here but, sadly, looks very booked up already for next year, however I shall keep looking."
