"Udbredt hotel organiseret meget godt, forskellige typer af flyttede indkvartering, herunder at vælge på tidspunktet for booking , restaurant på stedet lidt dyrt. en bifald til morgenmad:rigelig og varieret, så mange drikkevarer og mad til alle smag! Vi havde en hund bagefter, og vi blev velkommen, både på hotellet og på restauranten. Godt sted x fjerne skuret og tage lidt frisk luft flygte fra sommervarmen. Vejen x ankomst er meget opad."

"We visited Villa Moorings in 2019 and it was as lovely as ever in 2024. Everything is beautiful, peaceful and comfortable here, and Beatrice and her team are wonderful hosts. The house is amazing, the views are fantastic and the pool is perfect. Our room was spacious and spotless with everything we needed. It’s well located a short walk from the old town but away from the hustle and bustle of Barga, and handy for cafes and food shops for lunch. We had a wonderful stay and will be back again."

"I did the full week cooking course week with Rita at the Mezzaluna in Barga. It was exactly as described on the can: very informal, a great warm welcome, really inclusive: she drove us everywhere for the tourist trips and wine tastings... For the cooking classes she adapted everything for me being vegetarian. The rooms are super clean, very rustic, not chic, but spacious and adequate, which was fine and the price reflects that. Plus: when we knew there were two days of heavy rain: she rearranged the cooking classes into two rainy days and moved the tourist trips to the days when it didn't rain. And on the rainy day, we said can we go to a regular supermarket to look around and find things to take home: directly: no problem! We cooked and we cooked... and we ate so much, and the wine flowed..! Nothing was too much trouble. Alex delivered great musical entertainment. The added value of personal social history about her family and ancestors really added to the authenticity of the week. If you are looking for something to do which is authentic and solo and you are a foodie like me: look no further!"
