The location is quite strategic which near to Ubud Palace & Ubud Market, but still need some walking distance. Overall the room decoration feels like you are really in Bali, but luckily I bring some mosquito repellent patch, because the mosquitoes are active at night. One more thing I like, is their breakfast, although not buffet style, but still a wide range of different sets can be chosen.

走進旅館的一刻第一印象很好，接着各種問題就開始了。 一開始給的房間床單潮的，床墊塌的。 換房間後，新房間裏洗臉盤堵塞無法排水，但最大的問題是床品不舒服，提供的被子是那種毛茸茸的，接觸在皮膚上不舒適。 加上早上6點就各種鳥叫+機車聲，休息的並沒有很好。 值得表揚的是，泳池和公共區域的環境很舒適。

What a beautiful oasis in the hustle and bustle of Ubud. Only a short walk into town, Ketuts is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The whole place is beautifully decorated, just like a Balineese home from years ago. The garden is amazing, the food in the restaurant is first class and the staff are super friendly and helpful. We had a deluxe room which came with its own we garden. The pool area is gorgeous with the jingle in the back round. We will diffinatly be back to stsy with Ketut and his family. Thank you.

So, I came here for four nights and, well, “hotel” might not be the right term. “Museum” describes it better – only, you get breakfast here too! My first room was a small, well-visible ground floor room where the air conditioning seemed to be more of a decorative piece. A complete no-go in this heat. After a quick complaint, I got an upgrade to the so-called “Rapunzel Room” on the second floor, which was only accessible by two steep, narrow staircases. As for the bathroom situation: the bathroom wasn’t in the room but outside, kind of like an annex. Showering at night felt like an insect party, as a little skylight drew in every flying creature around. On top of that, the drains were so slow that I could almost use it as a footbath. I eventually made peace with my ant roommates, but leaving anything in the bathroom was not an option. So, every time, I’d carry all my stuff back to the room – an excellent fitness program! The Wi-Fi? Okay during the day, but come evening, when everyone was in their rooms, it practically disappeared. Stains and strange hairs on the heavy bed cover made my nights even more thrilling. All in all, I was beyond relieved to move to a new hotel on checkout day – with a normal bathroom in the room! On the bright side, I have to say the view from the breakfast area was pretty fantastic, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. If I’ve learned one thing, it’s that a “Museum Hotel” is certainly unique, but next time, I think I’ll opt for a bit more comfort!

Authentic Balinese experience! Wonderful bed and breakfast owned and run by Ketut and his family. Amazing architecture and experience. The family and staff couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming and as a first time solo traveller I felt safe and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Beautyful place close to city center. You Can walk to everything. Nice large rooms. Nice people - allways let you know they Can help. Really good food, specially enjoyed the Balinese dinner with stories about the place and Balinese culture. Nice pool

Superb stay at Ketuts Place. Immense views, lovely rooms and amazing staff. Proper family run place. 5/5 every day of the week and a short stroll from Ubud centre where you can see what Ubud has to offer. Would 100% stay again. Very nice pool too!

We have been to Bali a few times and this is always a favourite of ours, as we can experience the real Bali in a family compound. Over the years we have come to know the family and we always feel like it is home. The family are lovely and welcoming and are happy to assist in any way. Ubud is getting busier, but you can feel at peace once inside the compound. Their special dinners are the best, so book in. Thanks, Ketut and Family.

This is the most authentic and beautiful place we stayed in Bali. It was a pleasure to meet Ketut (the owner) and his crew, they were so nice and welcoming, we will definitely come again when we are visiting Bali next time. A hidden gem in the streets of Ubud. Ubud centrum is in walking distance from Ketut’s bed and breakfast. If I could give more than 5 stars I would have done that. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pros: Place is very calm and quiet Great hospitality by staff Clean environment Clean swimming pool Cons: [IMP] Road is under construction so either you need to walk for 200m or you need to take diversion of around 7 KM. No additional benefits / rebate for longer stay. Additional Services are costly compared to other nearby hotel Breakfast is limited and less options for vegetarians Lots of insects & their sound outside villas you need to keep the room closed always. No fans - 1 AC for entire room Very dark in night inside or outside hotel premises

This is real gem and comes at a very decent price. It has a cozy ambience, a homely feel and has quiet surroundings even though it is still walking distance to Ubud centre. The staff is lovely and helpful. We’re very pleased and will definitely come back :-)

10/10 for me. So relaxing and you feel part of Ketuts family . Such a great location easy to walk to Main Street beautiful pool and the breakfast is nice. Not sure why you’d spend $1000s on those big resorts with you can have something like this. We had room 13 great size down stairs with privacy. I miss it already.

Spent the first week in Ubud (a bood’) at Ketut’s Place. What an oasis! The street is a bit busy but a few steps into the compound, the sounds abate and all you hear are the birds, rustling in the trees and fountains in the pool. Room was great with a queen and twin bed, sitting area and bath with shower. Plenty of storage. The included breakfast was wonderful as were all the other meals. The best part? The people! Every request was met with a “yes”. Ketut introduced himself and said hello. They offer a variety of massages conveniently located on site. Whilst there is upstairs eating above the kitchen, dining at the poolside area was my favorite and was perfect for playing cards and chatting with other guests. Definitely recommend Ketut’s!
