"I canceled right after I had booked the room. The place was nasty and dirty and it smelled horrible. . I told the guy at the window I was canceling, he said no problem. Request a cancellation and I will approve. So far, I have not received my refund, I called the Hotel and they said cancellations are not refundable. I now have to wait for the manager until the 1/2/24 to get a response."

"We stayed in Bakersfield after visiting Sequoia National Park. Arrived at hotel quite late at night but thankfully the check in was fast. The bed and pillows are comfortable. We stayed on level 2 and there was a guest laundry room which has 2 washers and 2 dryers (we used only the dryer which cost USD1.50 and ran for 45 minutes each cycle) but our clothes (only a few pieces) were still feeling half dry even with the high heat cycle, but that’s not bad as they dried overnight inside the room. It’s good that we are able to control the room temperature and fan speed. Free parking is also a good thing for the hotel guest. The next day we checked out to head for Las Vegas."

"Breakfast was supposed to be from 7:00 AM onward, but the lobby was still closed at 7:45 AM when we were supposed to check out. Not that we missed a great breakfast, from what we saw on display... A few packaged snacks, cornflakes, coffee. The worst part was that at 6:00 AM we were woken up by a ***** who was constantly circling the motel driveway, honking and yelling. Apparently, his wife and her lover were in one of the motel rooms; security did nothing, and it continued for half an hour... Old motel that could use a better cleaning. Close to the road, noisy. There was no hot water in the shower, only lukewarm. The toilet barely flushes."
