"Booked a 2 night stay end Jul beginning August, used semi flexi rate as was unsure if we needed the 2 nights or not. Big big mistake there semi flexi rate does not offer anything to the customer at all, either way you manage it travelodge wins. As it happened didnt need the 2nd night so thought i had nothing better to do than amend my original booking knew i would get much back but expected the difference between initial booking and the amended booking. Not so !!!!! yes semi flexi rate allows you to change the booking up until 12hrs before but you need to pay a 12.50 fee to change which i thought ok not good but not too bad. Changed the booking to a 1 night stay then after we were home enquired through customer service about a refund, after a bit of back and forward emails (apparently they couldnt find my booking) was informed semi flexi rate means you can change your booking(for a fee) but you would not be refunded anything. Be aware Semi flexi rate is a money making rate not worth considering. Thought i was doing them a favour giving the room back for the 1st night however they probably did re-sell it and still kept my original priced booking plus charge me an extra 12,50 for good measure. Yes probably should have read the small print but did not think for 1 minute that a company such as travelodge would provide a service which means absolute nothing for their customers, im my case ex. Dont get me wrong have had many a positive stay in various travelodges but this has put us off for good,"

"Room was fine . Nice n clean . Carpet a little sticky with something . Cooked breakfast was awful . Rubber eggs and plastic bacon !!! Spoke to a young waitress who said it was because they had been sitting under the heat lamps !! But for how long ???? Not fresh at all ! We were there at 8.00 am ."

"Vi bookede Mercure Ayr som en sidste minut væk og var ikke skuffet, det er tæt på togstationen og busstationen er en 2-minutters gang, receptionen personale var smuk og behagelig, Vi havde en smuk udsigt over havet og havet fra vores værelse, der var ren og komfortabel, vi ville helt sikkert vælge dette hotel igen"

"Værelserne var rene og tilstrækkelige.Personalet var opmærksomt og venligt.Der var imidlertid en bryllupsrejse samme dag, og da vi ankom til vores aftenmiddag, fik vi ikke vores startere før 8.45pm, da vores bord blev booket for 6.30. Selv om vi var 25 minutter for sent, havde vi en 20-million gammel dreng, der sad meget tålmodigt og ventede på en pizza.Det tog 1-45 minutter at komme ud. Vi blev derefter fortalt, at chefen havde en smelte ned i køkkenet.Kan ikke fejle ventepersonalet, men hvis du vil sulte til døden eller spise ved midnat, så er det her stedet for at gå."

"We booked on line with ***********, when we arrived we were told there was no kitchen as it was getting refurbished, they should have been upfront with this before booking  We also had our 9 year old granddaughter with us and due to the bye laws she was not allowed in the bar even with been accompanied with an adult. The problem was on Friday evening there was nowhere for us to sit with our drinks and after a lot of consultation we were eventually allowed to sit in the breakfast area. Not good enough"

"Arrived quite early in the day and was worried that we had a few hours to wait for check in, but we met someone there who said it would be ready in 5 mins. We parked in the front, there's permit parking along the road. The flat we were in is really well arranged. A large double bed (made of two singles) each with a pull out divan that we used for our kids. Everything is in one room, a space has been built for a shower room, toilet and sink, a bench seat in the window and a table for a kettle, coffee etc. There's even a very small mini fridge underneath. I was a bit worried about the idea of a communal kitchen and dining space, but it's really spacious and well kitted out with cutlery, plates, pans, kettle, toaster and fridge. I don't think there were many other residents when we stayed, so we never encountered anybody there. Overall, a really nice place to stay if you ever visit Ayr. "
