Our room had been refurbished, making it modern and spotlessly clean. Both breakfast and dinner were served directly in our room, and they were absolutely delicious, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy our time."

"We stayed with our family of four. The meals were delicious every day. The white rice was also very tasty, and the menu changed every day. I haven't stayed at other ryokans to compare, so I can't say for sure, but if you want to enjoy Japanese food for breakfast and dinner and stay at a ryokan, I think it's a good choice. Another good thing about this ryokan is that there are baths in the rooms, and there are baths in addition to the large communal bath."

"One of the best ryokans I’ve experienced. Now on my fourth visit (month long) . The places has been totally rebuilt since a fire in 2018 and is still like new. Each room has a partly open tub but there are also public ones indoors and outside. Food is amazing. You can watch the chefs work through a viewing window. Both breakfasts and dinners are served in your own room with views on to either the pond or garden. Very tranquil setting."

"Reason this hotel I picked the best thing hotel located next to the lake (北潟湖, the first time facing the lake. I scored 5 at location, just because I drove to there. Hotel provide the shuttle bus from station. The service is super warm, kind, you will know the Japanese old time excellent service. I visit here at Low season and weekday, only few couples stay in same day, love the silent and the lake view is super cool.  "

"I stayed at an inn at Awara Onsen in Awara City, Fukui Prefecture. The room was a nice and comfortable room with modern Japanese style. The furnishings such as chairs and tables were nice. The lobby area is a nostalgic space, and in the large lounge with a fireplace, coffee and tea were served. I used it after taking a bath in the morning and after breakfast. The hot spring was a colorless and transparent gentle hot spring. Many customers came to the day trip hot spring probably because it was Sunday. Supper was served at the Japanese-style room venue. All the items were beautiful and delicious. The sashimi including abalone was fresh, and the rice cooked with beef straw was unique. In addition, the friendly Nakai-san gave us warm hospitality. Breakfast was also healthy and delicious."
