"The front desk was empty, so I called out, "Excuse me!", but there was a man who appeared to be an employee standing nearby, engrossed in his work. It was right in the middle of check-in time. →I found a note that said, "Call this number when the front desk is not at the front desk," so I rang it, and the phone in front of me rang. →The man stomped over to me, yelling, "Damn it!", and acted brusquely as the receptionist. He handed me a tablet and said, "Enter the information." "I'm the only staff member here." He occasionally clicked his tongue and sighed as he completed the check-in. "We don't think we'll be short-staffed for morning check-outs either, so please hand the items in the bag to a staff member and leave." He said, "We don't think we'll have enough staff to check you out in the morning, so please hand over the items in the bag to a staff member and leave." He didn't even say anything like, "Take your time," and let me go. I'm in the customer service business, so I understand when people get annoyed, and I've never written a negative review like this before, but this was too much. It seemed like there were a lot of long-term guests, so perhaps they should put up a notice saying they don't accept casual guests."

"We used this hotel to celebrate two family members' 88th and 60th birthdays. They prepared red and yellow chanchanko kimonos, and the food was delicious. We also ordered a cake, and the candles were lit, providing a pleasant welcome. It's a fond memory. Thank you very much. 😊 I think it would have been better if the room had been cleaned a little more thoroughly."

"Location is not hard to find with clear signages and correct Google Navi - winding on the mountain road but manageable (on the way down though Google led us to a private road but it's not relevant here). The building is gorgeous - a little inconvenient dragging the luggage from the car to the room if you have lots of stuff. We kept the large suitcase in the car and only brought in what we needed for the night. Front desk lady's attitude was a little cold. There's no Futon service though - it shocked us a little that we had to lay out the futon in the Tatami room ourselves. All the Ryokans/Jhalf board hotels we went to would have Futon service during dinner time. Also the room was cold and we couldn't get the A/C to heat up properly; there might not be a heating function at all? There was also loud banging noise at some points (it was windy that day), but thanks goodness someone fixed it before we went to bed. Breakfast and dinner are OK, and meal service is good."

"The location was great. Also, he showed off the magic as a welcome service, and I was glad to come before entering the room. The room was very clean and the tension that was raised by magic further increased, and I felt particular about all the facilities in the room. There was also a complete set of cooking utensils, and I felt like I could make anything as long as I bought seasonings and ingredients. However, be careful as it is a little far to walk to convenience stores and supermarkets. It's a quiet place. I went a little before the actual season, so I couldn't experience the pool or kayaking yet, but I was able to enjoy it for twelve minutes even in the off-season. It was a great place to want to come again."

"The detailed information, including recommendations for nearby shops, made for a very fulfilling trip. My daughter even said she wished we could have stayed another night. I love incense, so I bought an incense holder at the attached shop! I was thrilled that they also recommended a wonderful incense shop! The amenities are purchased separately, but I suppose that's understandable given the low cost of the accommodation."

"This is a day-trip hot spring accommodation. It doesn't have much of a hotel feel; it's just a place to stay overnight. The rooms have bathrooms and showers, but no toiletries like towels or toothbrushes are provided. The location is best accessed by car. The rooms are on the second floor, accessible by elevator from the hot spring building, although I heard another accommodation on the second floor doesn't have an elevator. It's very authentic, like something out of a Japanese drama. Many locals bring baskets and towels to the hot spring. Guests can use the hot spring as much as they want, but it closes at 10 PM. There are a few local souvenirs and food items for sale, all slightly cheaper than outside. Breakfast is just soup and rice. While not very elaborate, it's quite unique and tastes good. If you enjoy experiencing local life and want affordable accommodation, it's a good option. However, if you're looking for a tourist experience, you might want to reconsider."
