"It's been a long time since I've been on TripAdvisor, but I'm writing about what happened to us so that others can be cautious. We booked and paid for a suite two months in advance for our wedding night. My wife called the hotel many times, including the morning of our wedding day, to confirm if there were any problems, and they repeatedly confirmed that there were no issues and that there were no outstanding debts. When we arrived at the hotel at 1:30 AM on our wedding night, they demanded an extra fee of 800 Turkish Lira, threatening not to let us into the room if we didn't pay. Imagine, they took advantage of our difficult situation after the wedding and charged us an amount they weren't entitled to. If we hadn't been in such a difficult situation and it hadn't been 1:30 AM, we could have acted differently, but it was clearly a planned event. We regret this; please be careful. In general, hotels in the Black Sea region and Turkey are below standard in terms of quality and service, and they are very expensive, and you can easily be subjected to these kinds of incidents."

"We came to stay for one night because of our friend's wedding. In fact, Samsun Atakum's is the cleanest hotel. The room is clean, the possibilities are set up in a luxury hotel. I think there is a 5-star luxury. A small but clean hotel, a 4-star hotel over 5 with breakfast. Not very rich but enough. However, it is not enough when price-based assessment is made. Because the price is higher than the surrounding hotels (e.g. there is a difference between the hotel in the 5-star luxury category here and the hotel in the 5-star luxury category here) because we prefer a stick closer to the district we're going to marry. Short cleaning 9/10, breakfast 5/10, car park and other facilities 6/10, price-performance 5/10. I gave a general high score, because there is a clean hotel 🙏🏻"
