"As a couple, we wanted to explore Aswan. This was 100% achieved from the moment we arrived at the Nubian village. The hotel was simply amazing. We received a warm welcome and were offered refreshments. There's a restaurant belonging to the hotel, but it's a bit of a walk away. They call a tuk-tuk for you free of charge. Breakfast is also served there. We were picked up very early for an excursion to Abu Simbel. They packed us a small but delicious breakfast for the journey. It was perfect. The little Nubian village itself is also very charming, and you can feel the joy of life of these friendly people. I would definitely come back here again. The view of the Nile from the balcony is indescribably beautiful. I will remember this stay for a long time."

"Absolutely incredible location, super friendly and laid back staff who suggested some amazing spots on the island. Highly recommended the small beach just off the island via boat, and having some herbal coffee at Bob Marley cafe while watching the sunset!! The food is prepared by local Nubian women and it’s absolutely delicious, the best food we had on our trip thus far. Another obvious reason to come is the proximity to the awe-inspiring Philae Temple, an absolute must see for its detailed history depicting the transfer from the last Egyptian dynasties to the Greek and Roman empires. Be sure to learn some Nubian phrases to show your appreciation for the staff!! Thank you!!!"

"Located on Elephant Island, it's very inconvenient to get to; you have to pay extra each time you go to the island, though not much. The owner and staff are very polite, and the facilities are very new—arguably the best I've encountered in Egypt. However, the location is absolutely terrible. If you prioritize facilities and cleanliness, this is an option, but I wouldn't recommend it if you want to avoid hassle."
