"Our stay at Giotto Country House & Spa was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Despite arriving later than planned due to Italian traffic, Angela gave us such a warm and welcoming reception that we immediately felt at ease. The room was incredible—beautifully presented and in a perfect location, making it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Every detail felt thoughtfully put together. The facilities were excellent. We especially loved the breakfast each morning, and the two-hour session in the spa area was a real highlight—so peaceful and rejuvenating. Angela truly went above and beyond during our stay, offering great local recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try. We ended up returning to some of her suggestions multiple times, which says it all. The location itself is ideal—convenient and easy to get to everything we needed, while still offering a tranquil escape. We would highly recommend Giotto Country House & Spa to anyone visiting the area. We’ll definitely be returning on our next trip!"

"Top stay. Central and well served accommodation facility. Very large room and bathroom. Absolutely worth the 4 stars. Very friendly staff and the room where breakfast is served is really beautiful and intimate. Overall I absolutely recommend it. Although there is no lift since it is a period building, the structure really deserves my compliments! Well done!"

"Great value for money. The hotel is a 10-15 minute from the train station, next to Santa Maria degli Angeli cathedral and it is linked to Assisi by public buses (15' minutes trip). It has a wide park area all around for walking and there is a large super market nearby as well as small local shops. Rooms are comfortable with high ceiling and properly tempered. Minor renovation needed in some parts or with furniture but relatively clean in most areas. There is a room to store your luggage (unattended) and a coffee & souvenir shop in the main entrance. Breakfast is basic, cold cuts and white bread/rusks, yogurt and little or no vegan options. Lovely picturesque view of Assisi village and Santa Maria cathedral from room."

"I stayed at this hotel around Ferragosto 2025. Everything was perfect. The hotel is new, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean, with extremely kind and welcoming staff. It's a great location for visiting Assisi and the surrounding area. I traveled with my dog, who was also made to feel incredibly welcome. At the end of the holiday, the staff even offered me a place to stay for my pet. I will definitely return and recommend this beautiful property to everyone."
