"Superb rustic hotel, direct view of the lake, with a panoramic terrace and a small interior terrace, the room was spacious and very clean. Nothing to say about the absolutely charming and helpful staff. Lots of restaurants nearby, no need to use your car (hotel parking) and use of Ticino transport. Two small downsides are the swimming pool which is still a 10-minute walk away under the blazing sun! And it would be good to mention that from a certain time there is no more room service! We highly recommend it!"

Romantik Hotel Castello Seeschloss

"We stayed as a family for three nights in this very beautiful hotel, and took two rooms in the very romantic medieval tower. It was a wonderful experience (especially for our daughter who had the room on the top floor, at the top of the tower). The Castello Seeschloss is an independent, family-run establishment, particularly well maintained and very comfortable. Everything here exudes order, cleanliness, Swiss quality. The location and view are extraordinary. The Al Lago restaurant is perfect, we had all our dinners there. The hotel has a pleasant and large outdoor swimming pool, a large, well-landscaped garden with numerous spaces to relax. Private parking and garage well suited for very large cars. Warm thanks to Mr. Filippo Ris for his kindness and the kindness of his welcome. Hotel to recommend without any hesitation."

Hotel la Meridiana, Lake & Spa

"We were for a WE in Ascona. The La Meridiana is located directly on the lake at the river promenade. So you can reach everything to foot in Ascona. To the bus stop it is a walk depending on Gangart 5-10 minutes. For arrival or departure you can drive through the pedestrian zone to the hotel. At departure on Sunday, increased attention and patience may require. The rooms were beautiful and sufficiently large. The most beautiful are, of course, those with sea view. The breakfast was good but not exceptional. Very cool is the SPA area in the cellar. For a hotel of this size in this location an absolute exception. I personally found it bad that the wonderful terrace remains quite unused. Probably there are reasons for it. We had served us out of the house refrigerator to drink some more at night there. However, the choice was small and I should have bought something in advance. But it was the right choice in principle and we can recommend the La Meridiana."
