"The property features a vast compound surrounded by lush greenery, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The view of Mt. Meru is superb, and we especially loved the beautiful natural surroundings. The room was modern and stylish, designed with touches of Africa elements. The private balcony was the perfect spot to unwind with a cup of coffee while taking in the scenery. The dinner buffet offered a wide variety of delicious dishes, while the breakfast spread was extensive, with plenty of choices. We would highly recommend Gran Meliá Arusha to anyone visiting Arusha."

Joyce was a great host, and her cooking is phenomenal - some of the best food we ate while on our trip. If I go back to Arusha I will absolutely be staying at Songota! I recommend the Songota Falls hike - it was a beautiful (and surprisingly challenging!) excursion."

"The room was decent for the country but had many small flaws: the toilet was inside the shower, the seating space was very limited, the light was flickering, and the sound insulation was nonexistent, making the loud urban noise very noticeable. We had booked a room with breakfast, but since we had to leave early, our travel organization told us to request a takeaway breakfast. From our arrival at 5 PM the day before, we reminded our host multiple times, and he consistently confirmed it would be arranged. However, the next morning, when it was time to leave, he simply told us he had forgotten… The only real advantage of this accommodation is its central location in Arusha, making it convenient to explore the city on foot."

Kiteme Comfort Lodge

"Stayed 5 hours at the Kiteme Comfort Lodge. Due to a late bus arrival into Arusha at 2:30 am we only managed to sleep a few hours before our safari pickup time at 07:30 am. The front desk quickly provided our room, which was clean and had a comfortable bed. The outlets in the room did not provide a charge for our cellphone which was concerning before starting a safari. However the front desk attendant was kind enough to let us use her charger during breakfast. The breakfast was a nice perk and included toast, crepes and eggs. When factoring the more than reasonable room cost, I would recommend this hotel as a quick, no frills stay before your safari. The value would be hard to match."

"En smuk stop i Arusha. Uventet sted på en meget gennemgående vej. Meget rene værelser, Christina sætter sig i fire til at tage dig og hendes typisk tansanian køkken er fremragende. Sammenføje besøg af kaffebryggere samt live tørring. Kun små bøfler, vejstøj, især på niveau af de direkte udsatte værelser. Meget overkommelig."

"Mercy people are really good 😭 English is also very good communication super smooth, breakfast is simple, sometimes a good vegetable soup:) The room and the hotel are very clean, 24h hot bath. My boyfriend was sick and went to the hospital. We delayed it for more than seven hours before checking out and charged an extra 20 knives. In addition to the bumpy road to the hotel, there is nothing bad, the location is convenient, arusha is not big to go anywhere is a taxi for ten or twenty minutes, bolt is very convenient! In short, recommended! Remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste ～ The picture is cafe arusha super super super delicious"

Korona Villa Lodge

"I stayed here as a part of a group tour. It is a cosy and modern house with nine ensuite rooms, and with a nice swimming pool and sunbading area in the back garden. Everything is very clean and beds a very good. We were all very pleased with our accommodation there. I also used the swimming pool and found it very refreshing. The staff are very caring and trying to do their best for the guests all the time. And I mean, all the time, day and night! A lady from our group, who hurt her leg, was given some ice and bandages in the evening, which was already a nice gesture. But they also offered to bring her some new ice at 2 am, to change the compress. And they did! There is a small Catholic church nearby. I enjoyed my stay at Korona Villa very much."
