"Beautiful location,luxurious accommodation and wonderful staff, we had 3 lodges for a family birthday and everything was amazing from start to finish, Garry and his team are amazing there if you need them and leave you to enjoy your stay. The grounds and the hot tubs are fantastic and there’s a barbecue hut and gym, try the hotel next door (about a 5 minute stroll along the waterfront) the food is great, wether you want to relax or try some water sports or explore the area this is a top quality base. We’re already thinking about going back 👍"

"I’ve just returned from a five-day trip to Scotland, staying at the Claymore Hotel, and what a beautiful little break it turned out to be. I travelled solo and wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but the experience exceeded all expectations. The Highlands and the surrounding area where the hotel is located are absolutely breathtaking—truly stunning scenery at every turn. What made the trip even more special, though, were the people. Both the staff and the fellow guests created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A special mention has to go to Gary, our driver and guide, who was incredibly professional, full of classic old-school humour, and had an impressive depth of knowledge about the area. The hotel staff work tirelessly and make you feel genuinely welcome—nothing ever feels like too much trouble. I’d also like to give a shoutout to Steve, the night porter—an absolute gentleman. I really enjoyed our morning chats over coffee outside, listening to his stories about Scotland and the local wildlife. It’s refreshing to meet someone so passionate about where they come from. My room was lovely, very clean, and offered a stunning view of the mountains and Loch Long—an incredible sight to wake up to each morning. The food was also excellent: hearty breakfasts that set you up perfectly for the day, and evening meals with a great selection of three courses, all very tasty. Each evening featured entertainment, which added a fun touch to the stay—bingo included (and I was thrilled to win one night!). The final evening was a highlight, with Robbie the comedian/singer delivering a fantastic Scottish-themed show filled with classic, clean humour that still makes me chuckle thinking about it. All in all, it was a perfect five days. I’m now truly a Caledonian Travel convert and would absolutely return without hesitation. Thank you to everyone—staff and new friends alike—for making my Scottish adventure so magical and memorable"
