"Functional hotel with helpful and welcoming staff. Very clean and well-insulated rooms, equipped with air conditioning and welcome kit. Well-kept swimming pool, but unfortunately full of bees, which make access annoying. Breakfast is served on a beautiful terrace, but not very usable due to the presence of bees. The quality of the food is a bit poor, even though there is a lot of choice. In my opinion it would be better to focus more on quality than quantity. The same applies to the condition of supplies present in the common areas of the hotel which appear to be worn and stained."

"Top choice! Great stay at Lazaros. Although I stayed in a room at the front part of the hotel it was very quiet and I enjoyed quality sleep. I needed to work for a couple of hours and the Wi-Fi was really good compared to other places I have stayed in Greece. Bathroom was big and modern and the whole place was spotless clean. Also, a big plus are the beach towels provided at the reception. I would definitely recommend it!"

"Amazing facilities, beautiful gardens, gorgeous room, spacious and with a sea view, nice balcony, we loved the massage we booked, very rich breakfast buffet and kind staff, especially the waiters and maids! In our suite, we also had complimentary coffee amenities which was a very nice touch. Maka from the reception was extremely helpful and kind and although herself is not from the island, she did her best to gather information and give us the best tips for beaches worth visiting and activities that we could do!"

"The hotel has a good size, is not overcrowded, is comfortable, the rooms are clean and the food is perfect. The downsides are that the owner allegedly allows smoking in the bar area when closed during the evening and the showers suffer from leaking into the rooms. Also the beach bar is closed."

"Zakynthos is a popular Greek island with many hotels, but finding a satisfactory one isn't easy. It needs a sea view, preferably with a pool; good restaurants, at least with a delicious and plentiful breakfast; it shouldn't be too far from the bustling commercial area, so there's something to explore; and most importantly, it needs to be good value for money, not too expensive. After quite a bit of searching, we finally found this hotel. Upon checking in, we really liked the room, including the large outdoor pool, and the room's layout and decor. The only unexpected thing was that the hotel was located on a hillside, and it had several different areas. The road signs were different from the names on the online booking, causing our driver to spend a lot of time searching. Fortunately, we could call the front desk to call a car for getting in and out, but it was a bit far to go shopping. The hotel restaurant's food was delicious, although even with a 10% discount for hotel guests, it was still a little pricey. Breakfast offered several set menus to choose from, and there were also complimentary fruits, cheeses, and drinks on the counter; the quality was impeccable. The hotel service was also impeccable!"

"A 20-25 min. taxi ride from the airport, an unspoiled natural beach and located a little bit aside from the main busy tourist areas. The hilly mainland seen at a distance across the water provides beautiful ocean views. Great for those who seek relaxation. The entire hotel area breaths good vibes and soft living. Even though it's a family resort, there is no feeling of chaos at all. No morning wars over the sunbeds, and the pools never get over crowded. On the contrary, the pools are very calm and available, much thanks to the great lifeguards on site. The rooms we've seen are really great, with the option to choose a more quiet area a little bit separated from the main complex. Very efficient air-condition provides fast cooling of the room when getting back from daily activities. It's not often you see such clean rooms day after day. Great work by the cleaning staff. I'd say me and my family got great value for our money in many ways. This is just what we were hoping for when we made the reservation some months ago. The hotel offers lots of activities, from early morning to late evening. Highly skilld artists and so on. Perhaps the sound level around the pool gets a little high during mid-day, but the area is large, so if you want silence there's alot to choose from. And about the service... I've experienced high level hotel service before, but nothing like this. Let me give an example: For this trip me and my family did'nt choose the "room with a seaview" option. Mostly to save some on the booking fee. However, after having seen what a seaview-room means at this hotel (spectacular), we regretted our choise. So we contacted the reception desk, and asked if it perhaps was possible to change rooms to a seaview one, if we just pay for the upgrade. About a day later they found a way to help us, even though it was right in the middle of high season. And guess what, they did'nt even let us pay for the upgrade. They said they just wanted our trip to be the best possible, while they moved all our stuff between the rooms for us. How great is that? In general, all the staff were very polite, helpful and always with a smile on their faces. As I wrote above, this sure was something out of the ordinary if you ask me."

"Da vi ankom, blev vi fortalt, at der var et problem med vores værelse – de tidligere gæster havde revet røret, så bruseren var ikke brugbar.Først var vi lidt bekymrede over, hvad det betød, men det hele virkede fint. Vi fik vores eget private badeværelse ned ad trappen og stadig havde et smukt havudsigt værelse op ad trappen.Det var lidt svært at gå ned ad trappen til bruser, men ærligt og se solen op fra vores balkon, der blev lavet for det. Personalet var alle super venligt og hjælpsomt.Et særligt skrig til Yiannis – så velkommen og opmærksom, og virkelig hjalp med at skabe en dejlig venlig atmosfære!Det er lidt overraskende, at stedet ikke er mere travlt om natten, fordi det er et så smukt sted. Jeg tror, det er lidt længere fra hovedstregen, som vi faktisk kunne lide, fordi det betød, at tingene var stillere – og du er stadig kun et par minutters gang fra alt.På trods af bruserens problem havde vi en fantastisk tid her. Hvis vi vender tilbage til Tsilivi, ville vi helt sikkert blive igen.Tak for en stor ferie!"

"We had an amazing experience at Christina Apartments. The room was spotless and comfortable, offering a perfect blend of luxury and coziness. The pool was pristine and ideal for relaxation. The personnel were friendly and professional, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, everything was excellent. Highly recommend! However, the stay is a bit secluded, so you’ll need a car to reach the best beaches on the other side of the island. There’s also no room service or on-site restaurant, which was inconvenient for us as we woke up very late. Overall, a good stay with some limitations."

"We had read mixed reviews regarding this hotel but we are a couple who generally see things positively and don't like to complain, so we took a chance on the Park Hotel. On arrival at the hotel we were advised by the manager that we had been allocated one of the five best rooms in the hotel, with direct access to the pool area. This set alarm bells ringing as it seemed a little strange that this was the manager's first comments to us and I had read negative reviews on Trip Advisor about these rooms. We had booked a deluxe twin room with balcony and pool view, but what we were allocated was a double room, with a terrace and no pool view due to it's subterranean position. We were offered an alternative room, but only in four days time, which we declined as we did not want the inconvenience of having to pack up our belongings mid-holiday to make the move. Obviously this early problem set a tone for our holiday which whilst it did not spoil our overall enjoyment means we will not be returning as we feel we were not treated fairly, particularly when we heard reception staff selling room upgrades to other guests later in the week. To TUI's credit, they responded quickly to our complaint to them and agreed to refund the additional fees paid to them for the room upgrade. I would suggest any other guests who lost out in the room lottery and did not receive the upgrade they paid for to do the same and contact their tour operator."
Caretta Paradise Resort & WaterPark
"We have just returned from.our stay at Caretta Paradise Resort & Waterpark in Tragaki. There are many things to rave about, and a few negative points too. Firstly, the resort itself is amazing, totally geared up for families with plenty of day time and evening entertainment. (Mosly by the Polish tour reps who were brilliant). You will need some.e extra Euros for the children to play in the fun village as the bouncy castles / trampolines and go karts etc are all extras. There is also a bar for the adults which serves 'proper drinks' (named spirits and beers which aren't included in thr All inclusive). The resort was well kept, clean and the water park and all the various pools were fab. We had a swim up room which I would highly recommend was great to spend i. The morning or late afternoon before getting ready to go out. (You aren't allowed to swim in any of the pools after 7pm though). These pools sre shared with your neighbours in the block but we had no problem with that. The depths were also great for our son to swim in safely and help teaching him to swim. There is a supermarket on site (however, it is expensive) compared to the ones just outside the hotel opposite the restaurant Noka. Now onto the negatives - The hotels communication was lacking, on check-in we had to wait for our room and was told to wonder, which was fine but had no idea where anything was like restaurants or bars etc.. We also never got told that you had to pre-book the al a carte restaurants at the Silver Spoon restaurant reception in the mornings, we only found this out from other guests. We found the staff generally rude and dismissive or did not understand and would shrug their shoulders at you- this was mainly down to the fact our son has a Dairy allergy and the hotel claims to accommodate, however, we really struggles during our stay to find food suitable /safe for our son to eat. So we purchased some items from the local shop and took them to breakfast for him to eat/drink (oat milk, margarine butter,jams and cereal and bread) as we couldn't even check in the restaurants as they had no signs on the food or boxes for us to check. The food is rubbish and very much the same in borh Herbs and Silver spoon. I am shocked at the lack of fresh fruit and fresh greek ingredients is not on offer. The all inclusive drinks are what we deem 'cheap pop snd spirits' not to our tastes so again often bought bits from thr local supermarket to meet our needs/tastes. You can get a taxi from the hotel to Tsillivi 1 way for 10 Euro, or pay 20 Euro to go into Zante town 1 way. The bus timetable is not very reliable unfortunately. We went to Noka to eat and the staff were great and it was all fresh and reasonably priced and great Greek traditional food. Momo was fantastic, he would say Hello to everyone and made our holiday that much better. He was recommend ding places locally and alway had a smile to welcome you, was friendly and all guests loved him! If only all "

"nice rooms and staff good only problem with it is people from the admiral hotel next door came to use the quiet pools what we paid extra for bloody joke kids screaming etc if we had wanted an all inclusive with loads of kids swarming round we would of booked the admiral at half the price how come they can use new beach hotel quiet pools with nothing said"

"Just returned from 9 days stay at the Anetis... what a fabulous time we had. Very clean rooms, excellent view, brilliant and hospitable staff. I wouldn't stay anywhere else as we have been truly spoilt by this beautiful place. Nothing is too much trouble for all the staff... Dennis, Billy, Ilias and all the staff from the Lifetime bar ensure that you have a wonderful holiday. The food in the Lifetime bar is delicious.....compliments to the chef.... I really can't wait to holiday at the Anetis again next year."

"Han er lige vendt tilbage fra en 2-ugers pause og har haft en stor ferie, hvad gør Karras Grande specielt er personalet i alle afdelinger, uanset om det er Receptionister (Jenni} natteportøren {George}, Rengøringsvirksomheder (Linda), Restaurantpersonale (Anduela & Fay), vedligeholdelse (Qemal), Entertainment Team (Jack & Isa), Management (Antonis the General Manager, Nikos the Hotel Manager & Nikos the Restaurant Manager). Men for os er stjernen i showet Marino i Basillico Bar, han er en absolut kredit til hotellet, han arbejder træt og er omhyggelig i sin holdning til kunder og hans bar pligter. Han holder altid barområdet ren, altid tidlig og rense borde, mens han organiserer Sæder, solsenge, parasols osv., samtidig med at han sørger for, at gæsterne serveres hurtigt og med et smil Restauranten har altid haft en god række anstændige kvalitetsfødevarer. De alkoliknende drikkevarer, vi fandt, var gode - men de bløde drikkevarer, især kostkokken, er ikke meget gode med klager fra andre gæster - dette bør behandles af ledelse,"
