Pros: - 2 pools (1 indoor—requires bathing cap; 1-outdoor) - Connected on 3rd floor to “The Boulevard” an outdoor shopping center with ＞10 different restaurants and bars - Spacious room with nice bathroom Cons: - Hot water is not hot, just lukewarm - Only 2 towels provided - Outdoor pool lacks sufficient sun umbrellas, I.e. there are numerous chaise lounges but no coverings over them to protect from blazing sun - Insufficient staffing at front desk during busy check-in/out time so we had to wait 15 minutes to check in"

"This place is very special. We agree entirely re: the need for a refresh, especially in the rooms but it is otherwise incredible. A shoutout to Franco who goes above and beyond. Meals are great and the views are out of this world. It was hard to leave. It is hard to explain that even with the need for refreshing this place is one of our top favorites."

"I would avoid this hotel. It calls itself 5 star but the management must think it is 2 star because they treat you very poorly. The room was very nice and the gym fantastic – but that is where it ends. Firstly, we were told very clearly that we needed a card to get towels at the pool and that, if we lost it we would be charged $20 each. This is a 5 star hotel – cards to get pool towels is ridiculous. Then we left a book in the restaurant and when we went back the next day no-one had any idea what the procedure was regarding lost property. We did get it back eventually but how did no-one know where lost property was held? Poor management! The restaurant staff were terrible – at no point did anyone every come and ask us if we wanted to order or if we needed anything. We had to go to them every time – even though there were 5 or 6 of them milling around – it was very strange. But the most bizarre thing was when we mentioned that we had run out of coffee pods in the room and we were told we had to pay for them!!! We were in a suite, in a 5 star hotel and being told we had to pay for coffee pods. These are just a few examples of the poor service - ther were many more. Just not good enough –I have no idea who is managing this hotel but they clearly have little to no experience. There must be better options in Arica. "

"I requested a date change for my 4-night stay, booked through Worldpass, and despite contacting the hotel directly, I was not informed by any means of the date change to December of the same year (2025). Today, Noemi informed me that there is nothing that can be done, that the reservation, paid in full for 4 people, for 4 days, half board, was lost, but they didn't even have the courtesy to inform me. A regrettable experience communicating with the hotel's reservations department, since when I contacted them directly to inquire about the change, they blocked me, stating that all communication had to be through the travel agency. A regrettable situation and poor quality of service. I do not recommend it."

"The rooms have such a nice view, it almost makes you oversee the many updates needed. I stay in 2 different room on 2 different occasions and can say that all rooms appear to be the same. The sunset view is out of this world and the staff I dealt with were amazing! Some spoke excellent English and others did their best and we made it work. Having said that, the rooms need help. The sinks were cracked, the floors needed refinishing, the bathroom lights were popping off, there was rust all over. Would I stay here again, yes absolutely, but don’t let the online photos fool you. The restaurant had amazing food and I had the best mojito of my life (passion fruit mojito)."

"Jeg tog til Arica for at arbejde og boede 2 nætter på dette hotel. Jeg sov ikke en af dem, fordi mit værelse var ude på gaden, og støjen er forfærdelig, der er ingen lydløse vinduer, og gardinerne er af gas, så lyset fra den offentlige belysning gør værelset permanent belyst. Mit værelse havde 4 senge: 3-halvplads og en af to... morgenmad er meget grundlæggende: brød med æg eller jams eller smør og marmelade. Tjenesten er ikke opmærksom, de ikke kender de værdier, der giver den foregående skifte, og når jeg ankommer efter middag -23:00- jeg var mere end 15 minutter på gaden, fordi ingen ville åbne mig. Kort sagt, en meget ond oplevelse. Jeg håber ikke at have nogensinde at komme tilbage."

"Bad experience, starting from the fact that once at the hotel they charged me more than what was indicated at the time of reservation, so I only stayed 1 night! As for the bedrooms, small, hot, although they have air conditioning, but it either lacks maintenance or is of very low quality, because being at 16° it did not cool the room, the bathroom had a strange smell (I don't know if it was the pipes or that) but it was unpleasant, despite entering at the indicated time, they had not replaced either the shampoo or the soap, so it had to be requested and that took a while, hot water was not maintained, although due to the weather it is clearly not necessary, but If you are a person who showers with hot or warm water all year round, this place is not appropriate. Regarding the reception, not much to say, as in any hotel, they give the necessary information and apart from the problem of replenishing things, I did not maintain further communication. Regarding the breakfast (which is included), it is very poor and bad presentation, it was 1 bread with 1 sheet of cheese cut in half and likewise the ham, a little butter, jam and sweet puffed corn with a yogurt and a glass of juice (very sweet and warm for my taste) and what was the icing on the cake WAS THAT BEFORE CHECK OUT THEY HAD DISMISSED THE ROOMS, thank goodness we already had everything organized, but before the 12 in the afternoon that they indicate leaving the place, the room was already being tidied....NO COMMENT"

"This place has a very special style - it's not luxurious but practical and nice. The location is good if you want to stay near the historical centre (which is not the nicest area of the town) - it's very close but a bit to the side which makes it more quiet. However, the hotel is on a steep hill, so vehicles make a lot of noise climbing it, and in the nights there are events somewhere near, and the music can be heard well. I liked the scenery towards the morro and the see, it felt like being in a tower. My apartment was spacious and had a lot of light even if I had some curtains closed. The kitchen is quite good and there are many kinds of kitchen utensils, so one could do a lot of cooking. I didn't but it was nice to have a good fridge. There were several chairs in the apartment but none of them was very good for sitting and reading, so that was the main handicap for me. The owner is very helpful and gave me some brochures about the town and the area."
