"our itenary for kerela included two day stay at Marari beach resort. I was traveling with my elderly mom. this special hotel impressed me from the moment we arrived onwards for the following reasons- 1. we arrived few hours early but the staff accomodated without any issues . The check-in was smooth and we were promptly allocated a room with staff member accompanying us to the room to ensure everything was shown and explained. 2. property is so well designed with mature trees which are named with a placard and beautifully landscaped and very clean . room itself was beautiful, clean and well stocked. open concept bathroom was an added bonus. eco-friendly suggestions to reduce waste , water were highly thoughtful and appreciated . 3. food was excellent. the staff at dining hall was always helpful and providing excellent service . special mention to Jathin who was very understanding and excellent. staff in their traditional dress looked awesome and all of them worked hard to cater for the guest. a special mention to live music performance at night by Jayan and sindhi (fluet and tabla recital ) was excellent. 4. special mention to Mr Shibu, an environmentalists, responsible for few activities in the resort. his knowledge of birds , the way he has made habitat ,both in resort and at home to attract different birds/ owls and other animals is praiseworthy and very inspirational. Butterfly garden with beautiful flowers and organic garden are worth enjoying . 5. Ayurveda centre offering different treatments and massage were excellent. overall our two day stay was unique and memorable , made by hardworking, professional and very pleasant staff both at front and people who work behind the scenes at this beautiful resort. Everything was very reasonable and worth every penny . would not hesitate to go back and I would highly recommend it as a bucket list destination ."

There’s an elevator for those of us who can’t handle stairs as well as we once could. The owner and staff are super friendly. "It was worst, first of all it was very clear that make my trip cheated us and for that we will see you at the end of my travelling. We were told by the house boat manager that we are third party maam, the amenities you are looking for was not inform to us. Like fruit basket not given, mirror toiletries was like 5 rupees stuff no shampoo, no hand sanitizer, no laundry service and many more. But my complain is how you change the boat last minute as initially it was cosy boats and in last minutes boat without name. We call for help during check in which was terrible ms riya called and than someone come to receive us. This is not for we booked through make my trip that entire trip is spoiled and we need to keep calling for help really it was very disappointing. We ll make complain legally for sure at the end of my trip shame on make my trip better change your name spoil my trip"

"DO NOT VISIST THIS PLACE. You will certainly spoil your holiday. Stay away from this place and its ZOMBI, rude, and ill-mannered owner (Mr. Mathew). Firstly, It's not a resort, it's a house with a couple of rooms which do not have any facility like of a resort. There is No restaurant, no swimming pool, no room service, no Porter, no front desk. etc. Secondly there's no sea view at all. Zero hospitality. The blankets they gave were disgustingly old and smelled so awful that it was impossible to sleep. The stench was unbearable! Bathroom is very dirty. Horrible room with absolutely no hygiene. The photos on the website are completely misleading compared to the actual condition of the property. What you see online is nothing like the real situation – it's a total scam!. Real and present condition of the property is way different that what is shown in the pics. Absolutely NO maintenance. Garden, verandah, the rooms, the parking area, entrance, walkway etc. all are in very poor condition and dirty. Price is really not worth. Worst experience I had in my entire Kerala trip. Overall its PATHETIC experience. These people have full potential to ruined your vocations. (Please refer the attached pics, sufficient to show the real condition of so called Resort (?))"

"Made us wait including my dad who is a cancer patient for 1 hour to get an auto so they could take us to boat• We booked a deluxe room and the description didn't match room - There was no wifi, no toiletries, no TV in room, the room was full of dust, no shampoo, no hand soap!! the food is like a cheap PG food- not even salad or a dessert, terrible just terrible• refunded me 2500 INR on a booking made with 15000 INR but honestly this doesn't justifys• I live in Europe and I wish I had made booking through hotels.se because they would have refunded my full money.
