"1 night, 2 meals, standard Japanese-style room, 10 tatami mats (no bath) / with shower (no indoor bath), for 2 adults, when we arrived at the hotel, there was a hotel staff member who guided our car, we dropped off our luggage and carried it to the parking lot ourselves, it was full because we arrived late, so the hotel staff felt sorry for us as we had to turn around and park our car, and guided us, after we checked in and were given tea and sweets, we were shown to our room when we finished eating, on the way we listened to the guide to the hotel, it's not a big hotel, but there were free drinks, sake tasting, sweets, etc., when we entered the room and listened to the guide to the room, they explained it to us carefully, the room was not that big, but it was spacious enough for two people to relax, and the amenities were the bare minimum, even if there was no bath in the room, the large public bath was enough, it was nice to have ice cream and free drinks after the bath, the chairs in the lobby were also unique, so it might be a good idea to find a chair that suits you, it would be nice to sit on a chair and watch the sunset, or wake up early in the morning and watch the sunrise, both the sunrise and sunset were beautiful, I wish we had a little more time. I recommend this for those who want to enjoy the sunset, eat delicious food, and take a leisurely bath in the hot springs."

"The Ryokan and room was incredible! It felt like travelling back in time. The onsen was also super nice. The only issues were that the Onsen was at the sister hotel. It was only a 5 minute drive, but it would have been nice if they had their own. Also, the food was incredible, we had the breakfast. However we did not order the dinner because we were not sure if we would arrive to the Ryokan in time. Unfortunately they did not have any food at all, if you did not order the full set meal ahead of time. We went to a restaurant nearby which was ok...but it would have been nice if they had a couple menu items that were available outside of the full pre-booked set meal. "

"I stumbled upon this hotel by chance. Firstly, I love the Seto Inland Sea, and then I was drawn in by its creative cuisine and the vibrant, energetic name, "Tunkairo" (meaning "Sea-Swallowing Pavilion"). The hotel is built on a cliff overlooking the sea, with two baths: one indoors surrounded by massive rocks, and the other a completely open-air bath. The day I checked in was chilly and I was huddled up. The women's bath was outdoors, and after a thorough shower, I entered the bath and immediately felt relaxed. Although I'm very sensitive to heat, a breath of fresh air and a glance at the swirling snowflakes made me soak for an extra fifteen minutes! The food seemed to be made with seasonal ingredients; since oysters are in season, there were two dishes with large, plump oysters for dinner, which was very satisfying. Other appetizers, such as sashimi, grilled fish, and seafood rice, were decent. Overall, it's a very cost-effective hot spring hotel. Oh, and they also offer a shuttle service from the station."

"The location was great, close to Ako Castle and Oishi Shrine, and with many restaurants in the area. I got a twin room, which was clean and the bathroom, while small, was nice and adequate considering the price. However, the lady at the reception desk completely ruined that good impression! I rang the bell, but no one answered for a while. I heard a voice, so I looked over and saw she was engrossed on a phone call with an acquaintance, not a customer, so I called again, but she still didn't come out for a while. Finally, the receptionist...she didn't seem to get it even when I told her my name and showed her the reservation screen on her smartphone! How many times are they going to ask for my name alone?! "How much was it?" "Huh? For that much?" etc... Her manner of speaking wasn't great either! This lady was the worst⤵️⤵️"

"I en meget tilfredsstillende oplevelse!Jeg vil helt sikkert komme tilbage mange gange! Rummet er bredt og klart, og boligoplevelsen er meget behagelig!Et helt faldende vindue er på vej mod havet, og det er bare solens udsigt, og sove kan ikke trække vinduerne! Værelset var fuldt ud, især køkkenudstyr, med alle mulige tørretumbler og grundlæggende smagsstoffer.Jeg kunne lide tørretumbler.Jeg så køkkenet og besluttede, at alle tre måltider skulle blive i rummet og lave mad! Hotellet bruger stort set hele formen af selvhjælp, og det er ofte ikke personale, men der er kontaktoplysninger, og hvis det er nødvendigt, kan du ringe til dem. Hotelpersonalet er meget venligt.Når du registrerer dig, er der lige en ansat, der passer.Vi kan se, at vi straks hjælper med at flytte bagage til rummet, ellers er du på trappen. Desuden besluttede vi midlertidigt at bruge balkonen, men fordi vi var for sent informeret om hotellet, kunne hotellet ikke lave mad, men de var også klar til at lave mad til os og fortalte os om, hvor vi kunne købe mad til nærheden."
