"Underwhelming experience overall, especially at $600+/N; I would not come back. - Note it's a small conservancy, so your game drives there would be fairly limited; if I go back to a conservancy, I'd pick a larger one (but may just focus on the reserve, which has a higher density of wildlife, although some limitations as you can't drive offroad or do a walk) - I liked the overall set up/location: very remote! - Tents look good, but some serious issues to fix: toilet flush wouldn't stop at night; the tarpaulin sheet between the shower and the room is NOT connected to the floor so water got into the room (and personal belongings got wet...); no commercial gesture was offered to compensate us for the inconvenience, which was disappointing - Good food "

"Vi havde en fantastisk ophold på Karen Blixen Camp.Vi havde en meget lang køretur fra Lake Nakuru og lavede den i tide til frokost, der var en smuk introduktion til lejren. Service er ubehøvlet, vi blev passet på det øjeblik, vi ankom, og alle kendte vores navne straks.Vores værelse var fantastisk, ren og perfekt udsigt over Mara-floden med vores egen hippo tung. Vores værelse var meget behageligt, og vi havde en slukket service hver aften og en sikkerheds escort i løbet af natten tilbage til og fra restauranten.Alle var så indkvarteret og gjorde en indsats for at vise os det lokale vildmark omkring lejren også. Maden var fantastisk, med tre kurser til frokost og middag.Vi spiste meget godt under vores ophold!Drinkmuligheder var gode og vi nydte det tilbudte udvalg.Vores vært var smuk og fik os til at føle os meget velkommen, vi nydte vores måltider enormt. Vi gjorde også et par spildrev, og vores diver/guide var utrolig (Kisemei) og vi så så mange Cheetah og Lions op tæt på.Vi havde også solnedgange og morgenmad på vores drev, ud i det åbne græsmark med utrolig de fleste udsigter. Hele tingene var ærligt overraskende.Karen Blixen lejr var ovenpå og ud over et vidunderligt ophold, og vi kan ikke vente på at komme tilbage i den ikke så fjernt fremtid."

"Moses runs an incredibly amazing ship at Elephant Pepper. Alfred, Joshua, Dickson, Joseph, Sami and our guard that escorted us around the camp were nothing but kind, responsive and so knowledgable. The camp itself is breathtaking with the animals in close proximity and every meal we had was nothing short of delicious. Thank you for making our honeymoon and 1st time to Africa so incredibly special. We can’t wait to come back."

"Amazing boutique property with terrific local staff. It was perfect and I would recommend this in a heartbeat. Shout out.. … to Saitote, our lovable Masai warrior security guard with the sweetest smile ever, and Edward who never let us walk alone anywhere (which is good because on the last day we saw a lioness saunter past 8 feet from our tent). They took us on walks around the resort as well and showed us hippo pools … to Mark, our charming waiter with killer photography skills and sky high ambitions which I am sure he’ll achieve sooner than later. You go, Mark!! … to Stella, the guest relations manager who happily escorted us to the gate every single time … to Amina our chef who whipped up delicious food customised to our tastes … to James the resident photography expert who motivated us to try our hand at photography and then cheered on at our amateurish photos, and reassured us that they were indeed good And to all other staff who keep the operations running smoothly with always a kind smile. Nothing was too much for them. As for the resort, it’s small but it’s lovely. The rooms had everything we wanted in the wilderness of the savannah. Oh, also special shout out to the amazingly stocked library with local reading gems. Great going Ilora!"

"Pros: location is excellent, very nice amenities, food is very good, and game drives with Moseka were also good (despite not finding a male lion). I was injured during this trip and the nurse Betty took great care while redressing my wounds. All staff were very polite. The property itself is beautiful. Wake up service and morning coffee delivery was a very nice personal touch. View of mara river and hippos grunting away will never be forgotten. Cons: disorganised staff - they didn't know we were on our honeymoon trip despite telling them in advance. Phone did not work in the room and our room was in the far wing of the property. There were a lot of staff at the property who mentioned that they are assigned to us specifically but then we had to rely on the other staff. During checkout, they couldn't figure out we had prepaid in advance. They booked hot air balloon for us on the day of checkout only to then later rush us to pack in hurry when they could have simply told us to keep our luggage ready a day in advance."

"We stayed at Neptune Mara Rianta Luxury Camp for four nights, and it truly exceeded every expectation. The camp is beautifully set along the Mara River, where we could watch hippos and other wildlife. We even spotted two lions right from the pool area. What truly makes this camp special, though, is the people. Every single staff member was incredibly warm, friendly, and genuinely eager to make our stay perfect. Their constant smiles and kindness made us feel like family. We loved spending time together at the fire pit and even teaching them how to throw an American football—such fun, memorable moments. A special shout-out to Peter and Salomon, who were exceptionally attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy throughout our stay. The food was delicious, the sundowners were phenomenal, and our lodge was absolutely gorgeous. We also really enjoyed the guided walk across the river up to the rock and the relaxing massages—both were wonderful additions to the experience. Thank you to the entire Neptune Mara Rianta team for an incredible adventure and memories we will cherish forever."

"We had the most incredible stay at Kandili Camp. We were greeted at the airport by George and Moses who were so lovely and welcoming, and were our guides for the duration of our stay. Their expertise and passion led us to some absolutely incredible experiences with the wildlife!!! In terms of the camp itself, the location is prime - situated close to the Maasai Mara Reserve. The tents had everything we needed, and were so gorgeous opening to views of the conservancy! And the food was just delicious, thanks to Chef Solomon! The team at Kandili go above and beyond to take care of you, and they are such kind people! Joel, the fabulous camp manager, even played a round of Scrabble with us on one stormy afternoon. I cannot recommended Kandili Camp enough!"

Eller safari guide Paul var fantastisk at vise os dyrene og drikke os oplysninger i løbet af de fem dage safari der var intet, han ikke vidste.Dennis var genial som Paul s assistent.
