"Our stay at this villa was nothing like what was advertised. The photos online were completely misleading—the place looked much nicer in the listing than it did in person. The biggest shock was how far it actually was from the beach; it felt like a long trek every time, not at all what we expected. The villa was supposed to have three proper bedrooms, but the “third bedroom” was just an attic with a few uncomfortable beds—no privacy, no locks, and unbearably hot, even with the air conditioning struggling to keep up. Speaking of which, the AC was on, but it barely made a difference. We also had no running water for part of our stay. The host just blamed it on the city, but that’s not an excuse when you’re paying for a fully functional property. The beach was another letdown. While the sunbeds were free, the Stavento staff were pushy and aggressive, constantly pressuring us to buy things. Cleaning was almost nonexistent—our bedsheets were barely changed over nine days, and the whole place felt run-down and neglected. The only positive was the sound of the cicadas, which at least gave a bit of that Mediterranean vibe we were hoping for. Honestly, this was one of the most disappointing trips we’ve had. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and I wish we’d known the truth before booking."

"You know what they say about real estate in general. Location, location, location. If I want to be fair this is their strongest trait. Their location. They have a relatively big pool for the hotel size and in 20 meters you have a nice, clean, unorganized beach. Spaces are clean, rooms are clean. They have a working restaurant for breakfast, launch and dinner with decent food that has some tables on the water so the view is great. Food quality is on the ok side. Nothing special but decent with fairly good different options. Now moving on to the negative things. First and foremost their rooms are very old. Actually everything around the hotel is fairly old and you can tell. Nevertheless they are doing a decent job at trying to hide its age. All rooms have A/C but from another decade so be prepared for some noise. Nothing too problematic but if you want complete silence in your sleep, get some earplugs. Everything is working inside the room but don’t have any great expectations. As I said everything is old. They have a non working roof garden. I bet it used to be a great place to have dinner or breakfast or just enjoy a drink but it is now abandoned. Extra tip. It still has its seats so you can go there at night, completely alone or with company and enjoy the view. It’s on the 3rd floor. They also have a non working pool bar. A major problem is that they are short stuffed. They try to hide it by organizing their internal procedures and for the most part they succeed but you might find some services lacking. Breakfast is 08:00-10:30. Fairly basic. Maybe the most basic breakfast I’ve seen in a while with little to non existing paid options to expand it. Service is very basic in the morning. Don’t wait for someone to come at your table for you to order extras. Pool is supposed to be open from 10:00-18:00 but 3-4 days of the week it opens on about 10:45 because the lifeguard on duty is also the pool cleaner and maintainer. He gets here at 10:00 and starts the cleaning process. Another great example of the short stuff problem I mentioned earlier. Please note that there are some bars and restaurants nearby so a lot of youth gather there making some noise. Nothing too bad. Just a heads up. Our room was not on the beachfront but on the side of the hotel so we were not affected from the noise. All in all, if you take into consideration the disadvantages I mentioned, our stay was very pleasant. Stuff is very polite and ready to help you. Location is great. Extra tips: There’s a mini market just 10m away. A kiosk is at 50m and stays open till around 23:00. A very nice snack place is also nearby at about 200m open till 04:00 so if you’re hungry after a night out this is the place to go."

"We stayed for 4 nights to visit friends who were at their vacation home near by. Pros: Location on the sea. The housekeeping staff were very friendly. The bungalows were more quiet than the main building. Cons: The rooms are less than basic and furniture very worn. The biggest disappointment was that the kayaks and paddle boards could only be used (or rented) by guests who booked through the French tour operator that has an office there. We booked directly with the hotel and the website notes a "Water Sport Center" and "Being a “near-the-sea” complex it is only natural to accommodate almost all water sports activities" plus". We didn't have a car rental because our plan was to kayak or paddle board to our friends house down the sea wall. This was never explained to us in the pre-arrival communication we had with the hotel. The nice photo of the paddle boarders on the website is bad advertising at least. Not everyone speaks English (most of the staff and guests are French). The breakfast/dining area was extremely hot and I don't think air conditioned since the doors were left open. The outside temperature was pushing 100F. The AC in the rooms turn off during the day without the key card. The first day we return to our room which was hotter than it was outside. It is a stretch to say that the gardens are "well attended" or that it is a "quiet environment.""
