"we stayed last weekend for a triathlon competition, the hotel had an agreement with the event. I found the reception staff unprepared, first of all they didn't give any information on the hotel services, I had to ask for the breakfast time, they hadn't foreseen a storage area where to put the bikes, they hadn't foreseen an advance breakfast time for the guests. athletes on race day, did not provide post-race support rooms to take a shower. The hotel pools are thermal and still too cold to swim with children, and obviously in the entire pool area but also at the reception there is a typical spa smell (rotten eggs), I would recommend the hotel to put flowers or perfume the reception. The mediocre breakfast, the undrinkable machine coffee, the croissants and hazelnut cream of very low quality, the simple daisy-type cakes and the empty croissants are good. The room is nothing special, the bathroom needs improvement, old sanitary ware. The only good thing is the location because it is close to the town and there is a beautiful equipped beach underneath the structure."

"Very inconvenient location to reach. To access the b and b you have to climb several steps with suitcases in hand and no help from the manager. The rooms are very dated, bathroom with old sponges, a gem is the "safe": completely removable as it is not fixed to the wall!!! The only positive note: breakfast with sweets prepared by the manager! Time slot too rigid for being on holiday: 7:30 - 10:00, if you arrive at 9:30 the offer is already scarce. Attention: breakfast is served on the first floor and the structure does not have a lift. Strict check out: 11am with no availability to leave luggage for the rest of the day"

"What a stunning resort. Idyllic location set by the coast nestled amongs two beautiful golf courses. The whole resort is both calm and welcoming to all of the family. Our rooms were well located and suitably sized for what we needed and always kept clean and tidy. The food and drink on offer was exemplary as well. But what really makes this resort special is the wonderful staff - from the welcome desk and concierge, to the pool and beach lifeguards and various attendants we were always comfortable. A special shout out to the F&B staff though - we were always wonderfully looked after at meal times and when we went to the bars - our favourite server was Federica and we always had a wonderful drink at the Scirocco bar. We can’t wait to return!"

"Værelset er ikke 18 kvadratmeter, det normale europæiske hotel er ikke stort, badeværelset er normalt ikke tørret, men hotel pool og have er velegnet til dem, der kan lide at ligge ved poolen og se solen.Men gå til Guangzhou Valley i 16 minutter. Der er en god restaurant i nærheden, der hedder Bana ******i (til hotellet i 7 minutter), vi bestilte en cyliterisk frugt- og grøntsagspise, en havfrugt- og grøntsagspise, en forreste mad, alle hotelmærker i 56 euro, en stor oplevelse!"

"very simple rooms, cleaning done in a rush, always missing either toilet paper or towels, no explanation for the food, no menu, pasta or risotto and risotto and pasta, at breakfast, not much, no butter, the next day no eggs, no wholemeal bread, in short everything was missing. The bathroom is tiny, extra small shower and no hot water for several days. Only positive point the waiters are very nice"

"Just had a lovely week at Il Marchese - we found the staff to be fantastic, particularly Elviro who provided an excellent breakfast every morning and was so helpful! The pool area is lovely - sun beds perhaps not the best though. You can get great paninis and focaccia through the day and there is a pool bar. The hotel is in such a peaceful location although you definitely need a car as there isn’t too much close by. The room was a good size but I can’t give 5 stars as we had a couple of issues - the shower didn’t work very well and we often had to hold the operating knob so it would stay on. We also had a problem with the toilet not re-filling but we were able to fix it. There were quite a few ants at one point but the cleaners put an ant trap in the room which helped. We got massages on two occasions and they were lovely! We didn’t use the spa but we saw the facilities whilst getting the massages and it looked like a nice area. We tried to book a joint spa session (80 Euro per couple for two hours) but we were told it was only available for a private booking which was 160 - we thought that was a bit expensive. All in all, we had a lovely stay and the staff were very accommodating. Would recommend if you are looking for a quiet location with the option to go to busy Sciacca which is about a 10 minute drive away."

"The entertainment only for French customers in French, the night porter and a member of the reception indifferent towards the customer without even saying hello. The hotel swimming pool is not included in the room rate therefore the customer is obliged to pay the card on site for use of the swimming pool and the private beach even if he is not interested in the latter. There are additional costs for using the wi-fi, 2 euros per day, and car parking, 10 euros per day. No activities or entertainment for Italian customers except for the piano bar. Retirement home..."
