Achtis Hotel ★★★★

"This hotel is amazing from start to finish. It is a tranquil oasis where you feel like a VIP. I am a very fussy person and usually find things I don’t like. Honestly it was all perfect, the staff are amazing and make you feel so welcome. I love that you don’t have to pay for drinks each time you order but it’s charged to your room. We had a family room for 2 of us and it was really big and had everything we needed. Super comfy beds and very quiet. Gorgeous breakfast, cocktails and food. The village is about 8 minutes walk but there is a steep hill to navigate. I have mobility issues and managed it (just) but taxis are an available which we also used. The hotel has now changed to half board, we were B&B which suited us. Others were half board and said the food was lovely. No sunbed wars it’s a strict policy that you only put your towel down after breakfast and remove it if you are not using it. Never had an issue getting a sunbed which are super comfortable. The pool is accessible by graduated steps with a grab rail. One end is extremely deep but the other end perfect. Air conditioning for me was not quite cool enough and you could not alter the temperature but it was perfect for my husband. We both want to return but due to it now being half board we sadly won’t return as the price for next year is a lot more expensive. Great if you are happy with half board but there were many guests like us who said the same and want B&B. I really miss the hotel and so wish we were back. We have never had such a fabulous hotel. Just wish it stayed at B&B"

Casa Afytos - Adults Only ★★★

"Excellent stay at a lovely relaxing hotel. It was like having our own pool and villa as there are only a few rooms. Very close to the square for restaurants and bars which was lovely and authentic. We couldn’t have been made more welcome by the staff and the owner of the hotel from the maids to the lady who prepared our breakfast every morning. With lots of recommendations for food and trips and even to the owners village for dinner and drinks. It was an amazing stay."

"Jeg kan ikke sige nok positive om dette hotel.Vi blev på b&b-basis i en uge i slutningen af august.Vi havde et meget stort rum med en god størrelse balkon og masser af plads i rummet, herunder en sikker og minibar/køleskab. Morgenmad var en god blanding af varme og kolde fødevarer i en dejlig lysluftsmiljø.Badeområdet var særligt fantastisk, da vi nogle dage havde pladsen næsten for os selv. Solsenge var også søde og behagelige, og du måtte aldrig skrabe for en selv om du var ude for dagen. 10 minutters gang til den lokale landsby, der er smuk og har et stort udvalg af barer, restauranter, turistbutikker, butikker og et par mini-marts.Aldrig havde en dårlig måltid overalt. Strand er lidt længere ned ad en ganske kraftig slope, men vi er pool folk alligevel, så det generte os ikke.Vi tog også en dagsrejse til Thessaloniki med Jet2 Holidays, og det var virkelig interessant med masser af at se og gøre. Poolområdet blev kigget meget godt efter af personalet, der arbejdede hårdt hele dagen og kiggede efter deres gæster.Jeg ville anbefale dette sted grundigt - ønske jeg var der nu!"

"We have just returned from our 5th time of staying in this beautiful hotel. This year we stayed in a deluxe suite( room 414).It was amazing. Plenty of space,a separate seating area, separate toilet and shower, a huge bed , 2 flat screen tvs and a spacious balcony. As ever the staff are the best. We get welcomed as if we were family, made to feel special. We were only there for a week this time. We ate in the restaurant 3 times, choosing the baked sea bass every time( even though there were other fabulous dishes to choose from) The meals were excellent every time We have rebooked for May next year, staying 11 nights this time. I am on countdown as I really cannot wait to go and spend time at the hotel with the best staff in the world."

Stratos Hotel ★★★

"We visited Stratos again this year but decided to stay for 18 nights and had a lovely time . We have visited many times as a couple and with family. We are always welcomed back by Anastasia ,Stella, and their lovely mum. All the staff are friendly and helpful the rooms are cleaned daily by the hard working cleaning team and nothing is too much trouble . And the standard of cleanliness was still high throughout the immense heat and storm we had while we were there . The hotel is nice and chilled around the pool, and breakfast has a good choice to cater for all. We love our visits to Stratos and will be returning in September with family. Once again, thank you to all the team . See you in a few weeks 🥰🥰 "

"2 weeks in Afytos as guests at this residence. Place is welcoming. Location strategic, near to the beach and also the center. Clean flat, even though bathroom was not large enough and burners of kitchen not modern (too slow to warm up). Nice swimming pool. Staff very gente. A good stay as a whole."

Stamos Hotel ★★★

"Absolutely wonderful holiday we have just got back from a 2 week break at hotel Stamos. Rooms were large and modern, bed very comfortable. We had a family room with an absolutely fantastic view. Hotel is well placed being a short walk to the lively afitos centre with plenty of food choices. Food at the hotel is delicious and reasonably priced, drinks also not expensive. 4 euros for a large. Pool good size with plenty of sunbeds, we never had a problem getting one. Breakfast was lovely with a great selection, nice coffee. Being a small hotel to me is more of a friendly feel and guests were happy to chat! There's a great book stand where you can pop your old ones and collect new. Lovely kitchen area with decent size fridge with small freezer, sink and kettle with some cutlery, plates etc. Great storage in the bedrooms and decent size balcony with clothes dryer Only downfalls for us, our room (or specifically the childrens) was very cold when the air con was on but just right in the master. There were blankets on the wardrobe though which they slept under. Also a few missing tiles in the pool, put daughter did cut her toe on the first day down at the shallow end. Nevertheless I wouldn't hesitate to come back, and hoping to book again."
