"We spent 1 night at Coille Darach on our road trip through Scotland and received a very warm welcome. We very much appreciated the comfortable bed, quality bedding and towels and enjoyed one of the best breakfasts on our whole trip. There was a separate seating area/ balcony which we were also able to use. We should have booked dinner at a local restaurant in advance, but were fortunate to be fitted in to the Strontian hotel restaurant and enjoyed a delicious evening meal with views over the water."

"Vi tilbragte to nætter på Kilchoan House Hotel, mens vi udforskede Ardnamuchan halvøen og sporede min kones forfædre rødder.Hotellet er ikke s å kønt, men det er komfortabelt, ren og meget godt kørende. Vi bookede et havudsigtsværelse, der var i akse med sovevinduer.Værelset var stort, godt møblet i en periode stil. Ikke kun havde den omfattende udsigt over lyden af Mull til øen af Mull, men et panorama, der svingede rundt til Ben Niant mod øst.Badeværelset var lige så stort og veludstyret. Vi sov godt efter dage med at udforske denne fjern og smukke del af Skotland.Fruetter var også meget gode."

"My wife and I visit the area every year and have in the past enjoyed a good meal here with fresh langoustines, cullen skink, venison roasts etc all served by well dressed staff on nicely laid out tables. This time! Cheapest supermarket pies, no cullen skink, chips, chips chips. The tables were bare, not even a flower or candle and the staff in football shirts and some in shorts serving meals. Come on. Get a grip if you want this place to survive. Its not difficult to present something nicely and at least learn how to cook a few decent meals with good quality ingredients. This place could do well with a bit of enthusiasm and vision."
