"This is a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous and handy location. The staff are friendly but not overly so, which is good for us on holiday. We stayed in The Old Library, a corner room with lots of light and access from both the main door and a handy side door. There was very little noise considering it's a roadside room. A large room, lots of space and clean, with good seating and a comfortable bed. Good hanging space for clothes, but there are only three small drawers in the dressing table. Maybe one of the two refreshment tables could be swapped for a chest of drawers. The dining area was lovely, and the food was good with a nice continental buffet selection. However, our cooked order was wrong twice; the second time because we were given what we had the day before (the first incorrect order) because that's what the cook thought was wanted. It didn't help that the order wasn't written down; maybe this should be done for each order. We'd stay here again, remembering what we'd learned the first time around."

"We rented the apartment and one single room. The staff are very friendly. Both place has harbour view. The apartment is not very close to the hotel and there is a 10 minutes walk. But the apartment is very lovely. The only thing is that there are no lifts In either place. Also, the window for the hotel room are very old and has the 2 wood boards instead of the curtains. It is very original, but not really sound proof."

"On checking in we were shown to our room. The room was ample in size. The bed was very comfortable enabling a good nights sleep. The en-suite had been refurbished with a shower. A problem with water pressure was promptly attended to. As we were eating as a group of fourteen, we had pre ordered, and our meals were served speedily all together. Our choices of food were hot and well presented. There was a good choice on the breakfast menu again served without delay. The staff were attentive nothing being too much trouble making for a relaxing stay."

"4 of us . Just popped in for a pint and ended up having food . Between us we had 2 x welsh burgers and chips, chicken burger and chips, veggie burger and chips , they all came with the best coleslaw in mid wales , the quality of the burgers were spot on, fries were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle (lovely) . There’s a new owner who was very welcoming very friendly and accommodating . Wish we weren’t driving as we’d have stayed for longer for the rugby. A nice touch as there was a free raffle prize of a Fiji rugby shirt on offer . All 4 of us have given a 5 star rating and we’d recommend to anyone wanted a pint and some food or to watch some sports to come here . We will pop back next time we are here . "

"Vi lejede lejligheden og et enkelt værelse.Personalet er meget venligt.Begge steder har havneudsigt.Lejligheden er ikke meget tæt på hotellet og der er en 10-minutters gang.Men lejligheden er meget smuk. Det eneste er, at der ikke er elevatorer på nogen steder.Desuden er vinduet for hotelværelset meget gammelt og har de 2 træbrætter i stedet for gardinerne.Det er meget originalt, men ikke rigtigt lydhørt bevis."

"Ved check-in blev vi vist til vores værelse.Værelset var stort i størrelse.Beddet var meget behageligt, der tillod en god nats søvn.En suite var blevet renoveret med et bruser.Et problem med vandtryk blev hurtigt besvaret. Da vi spiste som en gruppe af fjorten, havde vi forudbestillet, og vores måltider blev serveret hurtigt alle sammen.Vores madvalg var varmt og godt præsenteret.Der var et godt valg på morgenmadsmenuen igen serveret uden forsinkelse. Personalet var opmærksom på, at intet var for meget problemer for en afslappende ophold."
