These reviews, spanning from 2023 to just three months prior to our booking, consistently reported issues with bed bugs within the hotel. I have also attached photos provided by previous guests, which corroborate these claims. The sheer volume and recency of these complaints painted a clear picture: the Blue Mansion Hotel appears to have a persistent and unresolved bed bug infestation. Understandably, we were immediately uncomfortable with the prospect of staying in a room with such a high risk of encountering these pests. The very next day after booking, we attempted to cancel our reservation. To our dismay, we were met with a firm refusal from both Trip.com and the Blue Mansion Hotel. We were informed that a cancellation was impossible, leaving us in an untenable position. Faced with the choice of potentially enduring bed bug bites or forfeiting the cost of our booking, we reluctantly chose the latter.
