beautiful location, have to pay for train up to the resort but the facilities and everything are well worth the extra cost.

初めてのスイス旅行で宿泊させて頂きました。 角部屋でマッターホルンもバッチリ目の前に見えて、 温水プールも、ビュッフェも見える席に通して頂きました。サービスもホテルもロケーションも最高でした。 また来たいです。

很棒的滑雪酒店，酒店面積不大，娛樂設施豐富有户外小童蹦床，室內保齡球，桌球，游泳池，温泉等。還有多條徒步路線。早餐也不錯。

這次帶着三個娃訂了兩間馬特洪房住了兩晚，酒店裝修風格我認為是古典自然，與現代的設施結合得恰到好處沒有違和感，服務員温柔有耐心照顧也十分周到，是欣賞馬特洪峯不二的選擇！

舒適的酒店，室外泳池雖然不大，但邊按摩邊欣賞馬特洪峯的景色非常享受！另外酒店有幾條徒步線路，還有騎行線路，挺不錯。餐廳的餐食也可以。

An amazing resort with five-star accommodations, service, and incredible views... simply breathtaking! Many thanks to the staff for helping to make our anniversary one to remember for a long time. Cheers to Stefan (and David for the warm welcome on the resort tram) from the Concierge Team for the excellent communications and assistance, to Raymond as well as Toby and Mauro for their kind service at Restaurant Alexandre, and to Katrin for taking wonderful care of us at Ristorante Al Bosco. We want to go back already!

Weekend getaway for two. Booked Riffelalp and had a great time. Received a lovely upgrade facing the Matterhorn. Food was good. The spa was a great place to recharge with different saunas,steams and so on. Views are phenomenal and luckily far away from all the tourist hustle and bustle of Zermatt.

Hotel is nice like a chalet style hence not modern style with usbs etc but still nice & clean. Amazing location. Albosco restaurant is amazing. Hotel need to work on things like : 1-providing the right instructions prior to booking especially that upward / Congrate train tickets are to be paid by the guest & are not included in the room rate which is surprising as this is the only way to reach the hotel ! 2- No bottled water provided for guests at all during the stay which is not what is expected in 5* hotels in all hotels for example in Italy you find tons of bottled water given to me for FREE as a guest ! No one told me that the 11:30 pm train is free until I asked the reception to book me the ticket then he is required to tell me it is free , why not before ! Overall the hotel & food are nice but the hotel staff need more training on hospitality, sharing essential information or simply how to deal with guests in 5 stars hotel ! I booked another Zermatt hotel which is 4 * & found the service way better. I do not think I’ll come back.

All perfect, the surroundings, the location, the hotel infrastructure and services, well curated in every detail. Guest is taken care of and spoiled from arrival to the parking in Tasch up to the door of the room. Completely hassle/free. The common areas are beautiful and well diversified with enjoyable entertainment/playroom. If I need to be really peaky and demanding, I would make 2 points: 1/ the internal swimming pool water is coldish… not really inviting to plunge into 2/ the fitness area is a bit understated compared to the rest of the facility. Think it should be made bigger and better equipped

Riffelalp resort was one of the best experiences of our time in Switzerland. Our experiences of the hotel, even just for 2 nights, were exceptional. The staff in every communication before arrival was extremely informative and very pleasant. At the hotel, people were exceptionally helpful and kind. The hotel itself is located on the side of the mountain with one of the most stunning views of the Matterhorn that you could ever imagine (weather cooperating, of course!). The hotel itself is lovely, with excellent restaurants and a cozy bar with amazing views. I was concerned that beds would be too hard, but they were comfortable, and our junior suite was lovely. My husband has mobility issues, but they were not a problem here with an elevator to get to our floor. Getting to the hotel required that we take the Gornergrat cog rail from Zermatt, which initially concerned me, but actually, it is quite easy to get both to/from Zermatt and to the top where other stunning views can of the Matterhorn and Alps can be seen. The staff has quite an organized system for transporting luggage from the hotel down to the train station in Zermatt so that you don't have to worry about it. It is a short walk (8 minutes) to from the hotel to the cog rail, or there is a tram that can take you. Rifflealp is about midway between Zermatt and the top, and there is a lot of good hiking possible. But the two best things about Riffelalp Resort are the smell of the trees and the oxygen in the air as you walk to and from the railway. But also the absolute SILENCE of the place -- no cars, sirens, just the still, calm, sound of human voices and nature. My only regret was that we could not spend more than 2 nights here -- I give any traveler considering it an enthusiastic and passionate "YES" recommendation.

Our stay at the Riffelalp was nothing short of marvelous! Our suite was so comfortable and spacious and the view of the Matterhorn from our balcony was spectacular. More than that, the entire staff was warm, friendly, and went above and beyond in every detail to make sure everything from our breakfast to our room was amazing. They are top-notch in every way! The entire resort oozes comfortable elegance. We definitely will return.

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing experience at Hotel Riffelalp this past week. We were on our honeymoon, and the previous week, we had spent mostly indoors dealing with awful illness (What a way to start!). When we headed to Zermatt, we were finally on the mend, and the moment we arrived in Riffelalp, the attentiveness and kindness of the staff immediately turned everything around for us. To start, the ride up to Riffelalp has amazing views, and then the hotel has their own little train (think Disneyland) that takes you up to the resort- very charming. We were greeted with an excellent room upgrade and even some super nice "happy honeymoon" decorations and such in the room! I had barely even mentioned my honeymoon when asking for a spa appointment, and was incredibly surprised at this level of detail and customer service- Truly 5 stars (Thank you all!). The resort itself is in the perfect location. It's away from all the hustle and bustle of Zermatt, and you can truly feel relaxed and like you can slow down. Want an amazing view of the Matterhorn? No problem- look out your window, swim at the pool, or dine at one of the restaurants (all of which were delicious, by the way). Beyond that, Riffelalp is right in the middle of some of the best that the Zermatt area has to offer. We went on multiple hikes that originated on trails literally right outside our hotel. For example, I did the 5 Lakes Hike (beautiful) and hiked right out of my hotel room to get there. In summary, everything here felt like a luxury, 5-star-worthy experience, and my wife and I had a wonderful time. Experiences and little "extra details" like the honeymoon stuff really made this special. We will recommend Hotel Riffelalp to anyone and everyone traveling to the area, and will for sure be back one day. Thank you!

Fabulous resort above Zermatt with wonderful staff & facilities. Great place for a family holiday, great skiing, dining options & evening activities which mean you do not need to leave the property. However the wonderful town of Zermatt is only 3 stops away on the train if you want to get out for awhile to a picture postcard Alpine village. Only issue is it is very expensive, more so than other resorts in the area & world which hinder a return visit for most!!!

If I could add a star I would. My mom and I had the best time ever in Hotel Riffelalp. Our room faced the Matterhorn and mountains in this enchanting landscape. The hotel is splendid in every detail. The staff is helpful, kind, fantastic and made us feel at home. The morning brunch is such a delight from the champagne to the Swiss cheese-charcuterie boards giving us a taste of the best quality and varied food. The service is impeccable. We also enjoyed the amazing outdoor and indoor pool and relaxed while contemplating the majestic Matterhorn. The spa is huge and fantastic with many different areas. My mom and I will go back as soon as we can and we thank the amazing team for making this trip so memorable.
