Room is very clean. Daily room service is good. Mattresses' comfort could be better. Location is great, close to Lambton Quay, lots of shops and restaurants. We particularly like the luggage storage, very convenient. Will stay again. Front desk staff very helpful.

Couldn't fault the experience except the room heater didn't appear to be working and the toaster at breakfast couldn't keep up with the demand

Very convenient location in middle of city, surrounded by restaurants and cafes. Covered walking areas in many parts of city and close to some tourist attractions like Parliament House, cable car.

Value for money. Did not expect much for the price but the breakfast buffet was excellent. A great option for price conscious travellers, great location in Wellington.

The Ibis hotel was perfectly located in downtown Wellington for our needs. We could walk pretty much everywhere we wanted to go; close to Te Papa, Cuba St, and the train station. The hotel rooms seem a little dated in decor, but it was all clean and comfortable. The rooms are quiet at night and offer black out curtains for late sleepers. When we went, they had a full Uruk-hai costume on display in the lobby and my LOTR heart loved it! A downside was that parking was expensive (45NZD per day and actually completely booked out when we arrived, so book your hotel parking in advance if needed).

Location excellent. Staff very helpful. Breakfast lovely. I would recommend this hotel for adult travelers 

Room's window is directly facing office building. Not sure if people can see us from the outside. Need to remember to close the curtains whenever we are in the room. Other than that, room is OK.

Checked in late from a delayed flight. Reception was pleasant and handled our arrival professionally. Took a bit longer due to slow computer but he was always updating us on progress and was apologetic. Room was great. Full amenities and had four pillows in our king size bed! All fluffy and comfy. Quite room and since we arrived late, we got a check out extension which was really really nice. Location is center and walkable distance to many shops and restaurants. Would definitely use this hotel again.

Comfortable stay. Great location and the Malaysian restaurant mins away is amazing. Will stay again

besides having the basement door stuck and we couldnt use our car for the first day everything else was good.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Ibis! It was close enough to walk wherever I wanted and safe! Taxis,etc right outside the front door. You can eat downstairs at the restaurant or have a cocktail! Would definitely stay again. Reservation desk and all employees were knowledgeable and friendly.

Affordable. Room is on the smaller side though.

Amazing location right in the city centre, good sized room with fridge and kettle to hand.
