This place felt like a luxury that I'm not used to as a long term traveller. The bed, the different lights, the bathroom. Everything was of a high standard. Location is good too. It's on walking distance from some of the mayor sights and for things further away there is a metro station nearby. This metro line serves both railway station, making the hotel very accessible.

Mold in hotel room, shower, ceiling and everywhere in public area. Corridor smell bad. Top floor is worst. It’s an older hotel which was once very luxurious: nice wall paper, generous room layout, well appointed furniture, good comfy mattress, but sadly, it has seen better days. The entire hotel needs a facelift and deep cleaning. Carpet stained and grime and dirt where all corners of all walls meet, accumulated from years of neglect. Shower smells bad and water does not drain. We were shown several rooms; all smell of cigarette smoke as none are smoke free (ashtrays in all rooms). Plus points: 1. Excellent service from lady front desk manager 2. house keeping staff work very hard to keep up with the degrading rooms. 3. Linen very clean, changed daily and nice high thread count sheets 4. Housekeeping brings a tray of fresh fruits delivered to hotel room daily 5. Free self service laundry (no dryer) 6. Location is great 7. plenty of free easy parking 8. Many places to dine within walking distance of hotel. 9. Cheap It’s a pity hotel management do not work on maintenance. It has potential to relive its good years again with some TLC. Thank you again to all the staff who are so friendly and helpful. We had a room with huge windows facing the mountains. A little road noise but not bad when windows shut.

Min ophold på Shangjing Hotel (Guiyang Railway Station Hongtongcheng Shopping Center Branch) var helt fantastisk fra start til slut.Fra det øjeblik, jeg ankom, var jeg varmt velkommen af det utroligt venlige og professionelle personale. Tjenesten var udmærket – altid hjælpsom, smilende og klar til at hjælpe med alt, hvad jeg havde brug for. Beliggende tæt på Guiyang Railway Station og Hongtongcheng Shopping Center, er hotellet i et levende og bekvemt område med masser af indkøb, mad og transportmuligheder tæt på.Det gjorde hele opholdet glat og sjovt. Hygiejnestandarderne var top-notch.Værelset var spotless, frisk og meget godt vedligeholdt.Alt følte sig rent og behageligt. Og sengene... fantastisk!Mattrene var utroligt bløde og behagelige, hvilket gav mig nogle af de bedste søvn, jeg har haft under rejsen.Efter en lang dag var det ren luksus at slappe af i en sådan hyggelig seng. Generelt, en fremragende oplevelse med fremragende service, stor personale, perfekt renhed og en fantastisk beliggenhed.Jeg anbefaler dette hotel meget og ville helt sikkert blive her igen!
