The hotel is in an excellent location. It is so central and close to so many tourist attractions. The room is clean and charming, also well sound proof. Even though there is a square outside with lots bars and restaurants, I couldn’t hear the noise much. The staff were so friendly and helpful, providing lots of local know how. When I needed to leave early in the morning for a side tour and would miss the breakfast, a staff prepared a mini-breakfast for me for next morning.

The amenities are unbelievable and the staff could not be more helpful! The breakfast was wonderful! You will not be disappointed!

The property was beautiful. I wanted to stay in a location that gave me the Portugal ambience and it did!!!

Great location and staff, poor room This is what we loved about the hotel: The location is excellent. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast each morning was delicious. The shower and water pressure were good. The size of the room was ample and the decor was beautiful. This is what could use improvement: The room (red room) looked beautiful and was isolated from street noise, but had a few issues. The bed and pillows were just okay. I could have used a lighter weight blanket or a sheet. There is no courtyard or view at all, which makes the balcony pointless. The room is next to the breakfast area, so it would be a poor choice unless you are an early riser as dish noises start around 6:45. Worst of all, the air conditioner seemed to pump in a sewage smell. We checked the bathroom and it smelled fine. Outside smelled fine as well. The staff attempted to remediate the issue by covering the smell with a spray perfume, which sort of worked, but by the next morning, the room would smell again. The last night we avoided using the air conditioning, and that seemed to help. I would consider staying at another property from this company because of the staff, but I would not stay at this property or in the red/pink room again.
