Customer needs not a priority at the hotel. Basics not catered for. No fridge in the room. Cold showers No bottle of water in the room, if requested, delivered hot! Bad communication between staff members resulted in being moved to another room for NO reason Spur and Nandos are your choice for dinner Expensive for the service that is received.

Hotel rooms are clean but in need of an upgrade. Carpets are very tired and stained. Wood veneer finishes are chipped. Bathrooms are clean but fittings are old. The TV in our room didn’t have good signal, picture on the screen was fuzzy on all channels. On the positive side, the lobby, pool area and breakfast area are well maintained and look good . The service provided by the staff was absolutely amazing. They are smiling and friendly, and are absolutely willing to help. With some room improvements and their amazing staff, this hotel could be great.

The hotel needs an revamp especially the baths should be changed into showers and the carpets in the rooms is very old is is starting to give hayfewer otherwise the beds us of good standard and the place is ok but the group should look at upgrades

I checked in on Wednesday last week and could not sleep due to a stinking carpet in room 215. Reported to reception on Thursday morning and was told that they were going to clean it. When I came back in the evening, it was still the same and had to sleep with open windows the whole night, despite the cold air that was coming into the room. On Thursday I requested for a room without carpet and was told they only have 4 rooms and all were taken. This has triggered a very bad flue and now have to incur medical bills and doctors consultations and take leave from work, miss important deadlines etc. I do not recommend anyone to stay there as staff fo not seem to care at all about the complaints.

The Garden Court in Kimber is a good stop when traveling back from the coast to Gauteng. The hotel pool serves to cool one down after a long day on the road, and the in-house Spur is always good for a family dinner with children. The buffet breakfast was excellent as always. On the negative side, our family (including children) only had 2 towels (one large and one small) in the room so we had to ask for more, and the beds did not have a top sheet. Only a duvet. The staff was friendly as always and accommodated our requests for additional towels and sheets in an efficient manner. It was a great value for money stay.
