Wien Hotels with Badekar

"My room was on the 7th floor and on the west side. I could open the big window, and the view was so good. It was such a refreshing room. I could relax a lot. However, there are no air conditioners, so if you don’t handle heat well, I wouldn’t recommend it."

"I couldn’t be happier during my three nights of stay at the Intercontinental Vienna. I was given an early check in upon arrival after a tiring long haul flight. The front desk staff was so warm and helpful, giving me all the tips to browse the city area. The location of the hotel couldn’t be better as the Metro station is directly opposite to the hotel entrance. The breakfast was awesome with good quality food which fed me so well that I didn’t need a meal for the day until later in the afternoon. I want to specially mention the nicest staff at its bar who not only provided excellent service but showed their warmth and care to their customers. During Xmas day, after my dinner at the bar, one of the staff kindly ran to the life to give me a plate of chocolate biscuits to wish me a merry Christmas. I was so touched and want to use here to express my thanks to them and to that particular staff. I wish I had his name ! Overall, I throughly enjoyed my stay there and will not hesitate to come back if I ever visit Vienna. It is the most value for money place I have stayed."

"I booked a 'budget room' option I was not familiar with, and found that it did not include amenities such as a refrigerator, complimentary water, or a coffee pot. While I had placed a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door when I went out, a man who appeared to be hotel staff entered my room without prior permission. I had my phone’s camera running as a precaution, which recorded this unexpected entry. Although I was quite uncomfortable with this, I chose not to make a formal complaint in order to enjoy my trip. I believe this is something future guests should be aware of."

"What a fantastic stay!  Location - the property is located about 15 mins walk from Wien Hauptbahnhof station, which is a direct RailJet service to the airport for 4.60 EUR. It also has several tram and bus lines running by stops even closer than that. Getting to central Vienna is easy via these options, and other sights like Schonbrunn Palace are relatively accessible, and comparable to other hotels located in the city centre.  Rooms - my room was conveniently located near the elevator on the sixth floor, and provided an excellent view over the Schweizergarten. The property is on the smaller, more boutique side, so the elevator is never going to be too far from the room. The lobby is also small which means you can literally go from walking in the door of the lobby to the door of your room in a minute; the same can’t be said for larger properties typical of the major brands. The room was surprisingly spacious, was cleaned every day (which I was very surprised about, a rarity in Europe these days!), the bed was comfortable and the temperature easily controlled. The only thing I would note is the water temperature control in the shower was overly sensitive, but once you get it set to preference it’s fine. Staff - the staff were excellent: friendly and professional. The restaurant staff were also excellent when I visited for dinner one evening.  Value - perhaps what I was most pleased with was the value. I paid less than half of what similar properties were charging for my dates, though granted I booked several months in advance. I’d highly recommend the Hotel Daniel if you’re booking a stay in Vienna!"
