Had the best best time at the grumpy schnauzer, room was immaculate so comfy and cosy, bed was absolutely massive, even had a few little personalisations as it was our anniversary, was so fun using the games room and the hot tub, can’t wait to go back☺️

We stayed here in December as an overnight stay to celebrate our anniversary, this place is amazing! You get access to your own private hot tub in each room and this was so relaxing! The extra add on of the cocktail cart, balloons & board games in the room made it extra special! Wide range of breakfast options to choose from and it’s delivered to your room in the morning. Mara went over and above for us both and was constantly checking in on us to ask if there was anything else we needed! Such a brilliant relaxing overnight and would definitely love to come back soon! Would recommend this place to everyone!!

This place is truly in a league of its own. We have stayed in numerous b&b's all over the world and can't say we have ever had the kind of experience we have had here. The hosts and little special touches really are what make's the place. The effort that goes in to making everyone's stay really special is so clear to see and we already can't wait to return. The rooms are beautiful, filled with everything you could ever need to make your stay perfect. The private hot tub area is great. We loved the fact there was music quietly playing throughout the parts of the house where guests get to go like the games room and the library. A special mention has to be made for the breakfast! Mara is some cook and I would happily be vegan if she cooked for me everyday as the breakfast was unreal! Even my fussy husband loved every bite, so much so we had to order a portion of the pancakes aswell as we knew if our breakfast was anything to go by they would be amazing, which they were. An extra added bonus was getting a cuddle at the beautiful dogs. Thanks so much to you both for such a brilliant stay x

What a beautiful place to stay away not far from home, my partner surprised me with a night over here I can finally be one of those who has had night over at the grumpy schnauzer, the hosts are fantastic my partner ordered a special request and Mara went over and above! The facilities are fantastic there is a 24 hr gym, a games room, a whole library, the meeting area has a fish tank , our own hot tub which was amaaaaazing we chilled there for hours having drinks and playing music! The room was huge , the decor was so cosy and warm and literally immaculate we honestly didn’t want to leave. We unfortunately slept through breakfast which I was gutted as I wanted the avocado breakfast , there is something about our bed that i did not want to leave it because I snoozed 4 alarms lol. I also would like to add there is a hair dryer and hair waver which is amazing especially when ur hair is around 30 inches long even in a bun, it will get wet. The girls will appreciate that. The only thing that could top all already fantastic accommodation, is dogs. Five of them to be precise. All the dogs are so friendly and want to come and be clapped they actually greet you upon arrival, they are so cuteeee!!!!! Overall It was such an amazing experience from start to finish but a good 60% of it is made by fantastic hosts I would love to come back here in the summer time

This place is a hidden gem! We stayed in the sleeping dog, the view was lush, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud unreal… the decor all the wee touches added made this place spectacular, if you get the chance GOOO, you will not be disappointed. Mara the owner is such a lovely lady, so down to earth, they have hot tubs, beautiful wee doggies, games room; and the place is spotless, would highly recommend and will definitely be revisiting soon! Absolutely amazing. I go here a lot and it’s just the best so friendly go out there way to make sure your ok and your stay is good. Highly recommended best place ever hot tub and rooms are amazing. They always ask if your ok and do go the extra mile xxxx
