Great location to base yourself for a few days of seeing Queenstown. (It really is that close.)
Nice and friendly staff at check in and throughout. Most helpful.
Ents included TV, books, games, couple of guitars, ocassional theme evenings. Couple of outdoor spaces.
Bathrooms are fine although if fairly or more than fairly tall, the shower heads are surprisingly low down.
I understand the difficulties with this given the time of year but a floor by floor deep clean is probably needed. Whilst I am no member of the fun police, having numerous notes across the place emphasising the need to keep noise down after 10pm, I can see why this might be a bit galling when the staff who live there alongside guests do not abide by this - especially when you have no idea who is a worker who is off duty.
Might be impossible given temperatures, but it wasn't ideal to climb into my bunk in the pitch black (other than the light from my phone) and find a cat sleeping there (honestly!) I like a cat but if I hadn't had my phone lit, I would never have known and would have landed forcefully on it. I actually found it quite funny but a lot wouldn't. All hell could have broken loose if I had landed on it. (Amusingly and no joke, I was watching Don't F*** with Cats at the time and had paused it while I climbed in. Perhaps it was written...)
Anyway, really nice spot and right for the price.

Med den bedste beliggenhed i byen har lokalt ejede On Top Backpackers & Apartments noget for enhver rejsende! Receptionen ligger i stueetagen, som også er hotellets egen vintage Poolhouse Bar & Café, som alle gæster kan nyde under hele opholdet.
Vandrerhjemmet er en ejendom på R18, som ligger 2 trapper op ad et niveau. Der er adgang til nøglekort døgnet rundt og det nyeste sikkerhedssystem. Vi har en række værelser lige fra 6-8 senge sovesale, private ensuites til nybyggede møblerede lejligheder.
Samtlige værelser har frisk sengelinned, varme, gratis kontinental morgenmad og ubegrænset højhastigheds-internet. Der er trådløs internetadgang. Komplet med fuldt udstyret køkken og vaskeri, en smuk solterrasse med udsigt over byen, bagageopbevaring og parkeringsmuligheder, On Top er et Top Spot! "

HHuobatu酒店環境特別好，老闆娘是一位中國姐姐，特別好，還給我牛奶，這裏很安靜，而且離景區很近，十米的地方有個麥當勞和加油站，100米的地方有一個炸魚薯條也是國人開的很好吃但不友善，總之酒店很乾凈衞生，地理位置好，方便快捷，停車很方便

TTortelliniIt’s a huge hostel in the prime part of queenstown so it’s a mixed bag on who you’ll be sharing a room with. There isn’t really anywhere to put your things in the room and need your own lock for the small safety cabinets, and sharing 2-4 outlets with everyone in the room, but it’s clean and the bed is fine.

DDan WuangExcellent location and PIN code lock safety mechanism on major entries are helpful.
Right next to Intercity coach pickup station which I rely for the whole journey in NZ.
There are elevator thus no worry on carrying my heavy huge luggage and hand carried.
I stayed in 6 dormitories ensuite. Rooms are bigger and there are a huge storage for each resident. Extra lockers and storage can be found outside the bunk should you need more space.
Towel is provided as well.
Very quiet at night thus can sleep well.
Kitchen is huge and I still find space to put my groceries inside the fridge and cubicle outside.
Will be back to stay for a couple of nights when I am back to Queenstown.
