Swiss Star Franklin

We stayed for 4 nights in the apartment on 4th floor and the lift was not in service for most of the time. (Only time it work was 1 evening and 1 morning) During check in, I spoke to the guest service, Mr. Emilio to inform him that the lift was not working, all he did was to "apologize for the inconvenience" and say there was nothing else he can do...! He did not even bother or have the initiative to offer to check and see if he could assign an alternative unit, only say "I'm sorry that you will have to carry your luggages up to level 4 or wait for the lift technician to arrive which I don't know what time it will be " On another note, the shower room is very small and ventilation is poor in the toilet. Also, there was no dish washing detergent and sponge, only a dishwasher (silly to wash just 2 plates, cups and spoons in the machine..!) whereas it will take only a few minutes to manually wash the dishes. The studio unit also do not have black out curtains, so you can't sleep in due to the light coming in. Overall, not impressive for the price, will not recommend unless you don't mind lugging your heavy luggages up due to the very unreliable lift..!

A lovely little apartment close to Oerlikon train station ( just 2 stops from Zurich main station. ) Clean and well presented. Bathroom small but functional. Bed was very comfortable. Lots of restaurants in the immediate area and also pharmacy and supermarket close by.
