We booked the batch No.35 with Sea views and a short walk across the little bridge and 100 Meters to the beach if that from our Batch, great getting up early and a nice walk along the beach hardly anyone around (xmas packed) and l did the Homunga bay and Orokawa bay walks which are absolutely amazing and the views are incredible do not get to close to the edge in places but do the walk with someone you will not be disappointed and go early as it can get quite hot and take water as well.

There was no air conditioning in the units where we stayed so in the summer it we extremely hot with only 1 fan to stir air so my elderly mother found it very difficult to breathe with copd, so I wouldn't recommend if you have anybody with similar condition. We also found it difficult to sleep due to the heat so left earlier than we had planned. :(

Overall we really enjoyed our stay - campground was really nice and clean, big flat sites. Lovely palm trees. Free showers. It was a little noisy at night, campground didn’t stick to the 10pm - 7am quiet time

Stayed for a festival in Waihi. Staff were great and accomodating. Facilities were great, toilets and showers always clean and great conditions. Camp plots were large and of good condition also. Would highly recommend to any family and friends who are heading to Waihi Beach.

Wonderful familie vacation. It was a windy holiday but we still enjoyed our stay. Kids loved running around and riding their bikes all over. Facilities was clean and service was excellent. The park is walking distance from the beach.

Nice little spot, close to the beach. I loved that the premises aren't too big, you can't get lost. But the facilities, especially the bathrooms could be cleaner. They're not the most updated bathrooms, could do with a facelift.

A fantastic introduction to camping with a young pet dog, so nice to have a pet-friendly camping ground. Great facilities and very short walk to the beach. Wonderful shower pressure! We were in tents so cannot comment about the cabins.

From the moment we arrived we have been greeted by friendly and warm staff. It only gets better as the time at this wonderful camp ground goes on. Traveling with one child can have it challenges but this park has an endless amount of actives and areas to keep them occupied. From a wonderful heated pool, to a spa, a stream that you can feed eels to a child’s play area and much much more. I’m looking forward to using the authentic pizza oven tonight and was grateful to be able to watch the super rugby game last night on sky sport in the adults tv area. This afternoon i’ll burn off some calories is the gym that is right next to the pool! Bring your family here and enjoy all the things we have at anytime of the year! Koji and Tomi
