Great resort area, well thought out activities and facilities . However, management should include more board games like scrabble etc. Lots of guests during our stay and sometimes we could not get to play games we wanted. I mean it’s easy and simple stuff to have more board games. Otherwise the food was great. The activities were good but pricier. Not a whole lot of participation. A pity. Oh, I should not miss out- the sunsets were picture perfect..

I enjoy my stay in Shangrila Tanjung Aru more compare to Rasa Ria. Cons: I feel that checkin took too much time as they want to register and snap IC of all guest. Requested baby cots is not available in my room. Pro: I enjoy the sunset at their beach. Its beautiful. In-Room dining food & service also good. Breakfast also good.

wonderful view and  The staff was friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the beautiful view from my balcony.

Lovely area, but they cramming too many people into the hotel. Breakfast was shocking for what we paid. You had to queue for about 45 mins and then when you were seated, queue another 15 mins for coffee. Out of 6 coffee machines, one worked for the three nights we stayed. 🤭. I wouldn’t stay here again - was expecting much more for the money I paid.

Really lovely, they prepared extra amenities for our anniversary, the hotel made some decorations, and did not need to put down extra deposits which is very convenient while checking out too. Offer by the hotel for Trip.com customers are a lot too. Highly recommended.

Happy to stay here with family. Room is maintain very well. Enjoy with the scenery and beach. Definitely will be here again.

Amazing location, the staff are extremely helpful and take a lot of care. The hotel staffs thoughtful care was actually quite an experience.

A wonderful stay and couldn’t be starting in a different way of saying big thanks for the staffs Danny and Ahmad that was very attentive and friendly with my family, very cheerful since the beginning of our stay till the last day, noting with stay almost 2 weeks there . Another big thanks for Agnes during breakfast, very kind and cook delicious eggs . Staffs are very customer oriented, the facilities for kids are perfect , big thanks also for the staff (girls) from cool zone , where the kids had lots of fun. Food wise no matter at breakfast , dinner or snacks around pool very delicious . Improvements I would say, get better selection of draft beer, only have tiger . And the bartenders need to improve the cocktails , special the ones that are made around the pool. Celebration of new year was top notch for all guests I think . Definitely is a come back anytime soon .

Great staycation, my kids like all the decoration at the lobby, fantastic... All the staff helpful and friendly.. the food delicious and variety... we stay here so many times already because this place is amazing! Only the beach there some used glasses. My kids found it lucky its not broken.

Amazing resort, great staff, lots of excursions to take part in and a lovely spa.

The hotel is located in a very exotic quiet place away from the city, surrounded by the pure nature. Food is good. Territory is big. Services are good. Amenities and facilities aren’t so new, as the hotel was opened some time ago. Rooms are big enough, but not very fresh. Generally, a nice place to visit and live. Some renovation/upgrade may be necessary to make it even nicer or, alternatively, cheaper room prices.

wonderful experience ! The grounds, with golf course, huge private beach and a forest reserve all of their own are just amazing! Beautiful two wings of the hotel are tastefully decorated. Fantastic food and beverage selections.friendly staff all around. Managed to do lots of activities like sunrise hike, bird watching, kayaking, buggy ride of golf course etc… really worth it! Very well managed property with caring and respectful staff. Really felt like home away from home in terms of comfort. Anything we wanted was delivered or taken care of without delay. Superb! It was our third time in Shangri la and we hope to return again here and try other properties too!
