Really enjoyed our stay, the food in the cafe was great, ideal location, just off motorway. The breakfast was lovely . Staff were very helpful .

There is plenty of car parking spaces on the hotel grounds. The staff were friendly, helpful and could speak very good English which was very used as we do not speak Spanish! The hotel is a beautiful old building which had been modernised with consideration. Our room was extremely clean with a comfortable bed. The shower was adequate for our one night stay. The TV only had a news channel availing English, and the TV was an older style so we could not plug in any additional technology. We ate dinner in the restaurant as it would have been too long a walk in the rain. The food was reasonable and the house wine was very good. The cost of the meal though was very over priced. I would stay here again but maybe not have a meal in the restaurant due only to the price. The restaurant staff were lovely.

Ideally located when travelling from Bilbao to Portugal. Very clean, large room with comfortable beds. Staff were efficient at the front desk. Did not use the restaurant. Instead, went across the road to Meson del Douro for dinner. Service was quick. If you don’t speak Spanish translate menu online so you know what to order.

El parador está bien ubicado y las instalaciones limpias y espacios amplios, por lo q deberían habilitar estancias para fumadores. Lo que no es nada recomendable es la comida del restaurante. Tanto la calidad del producto como su elaboración no están a la altura de un cuatro estrellas y restauración dos tenedores.
